Mariah Carey is reportedly demanding $50 million from James Packer, according to TMZ. Sources tied to the couple say that Mimi thinks James cost her millions upon millions of dollars -- and she wants her cash money!

Here's why she believes she needs her big pay day: 1) She moved from New York to Los Angeles to be with him -- he lives in Los Angeles so he can be near his kids. 2) The incident on the yacht in Greece (ya know, the one where she says he did something terrible to her assistant) was so traumatizing that she had to cancel the South American leg of her tour. 3) He made several financial promises to her about their future.

Umm those don't sound like good enough reasons to demand a $50 million payday! Didn't the "Sweet Fantasy" singer already have to move to Vegas for her residency? And as for her cancelled South American tour -- how about the show must go on? Suck it up, lady!

The Australian businessman has not commented on the new claims.
