Sean Penn Handcuffs Himself To Madonna At Her Charity Event, She Says She's Still In Love With Him

Madonna hosted a gala on Friday night at Art Basel in Miami, and not only did she raise over $7.5 million for her Raising Malawi charity, but she told ex-husband Sean Penn that she still loves him -- and that would marry him again! Well, for a bid of $150,000, anyway. And of course, he went for it. You know what? They're both crazy enough (and single), so we totally believe them!
James Corden hosted the event, which reportedly cost $5,000 per plate, and Madonna billed it as a night as "an evening of art, music and mischief." Stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Bethenny Frankel (who posted the images above on Snapchat), Courtney Love, David Blaine and Alex Rodriguez were all there, and Madonna's young son David, who was born in Malawi, gave a heartbreaking speech at the beginning of the soiree. The charity is currently building an intensive care unit and pediatric surgery center in the country, which is set to open next year.
Back back to the cheeky shenanigans -- which clearly worked! Though Madonna and Sean were married from 1985 to 1989 and their rocky union ended when she filed for divorce, the two remain close friends. And maybe more? Who knows, but the duo gave a bit of a show onstage when Sean crawled between Madonna's legs and handcuffed himself to her. Madge later told her former hubby, "I'm still in love with you!" and she proclaimed that if he bid $150,000 on one of her necklaces, she'd marry him again. Sean agreed, and though he was outbid, he also put his money where his mouth was with several other items during the night.
Several black and white photos from Madonna and Sean’s 1985 wedding, which were by the legendary photographer Herb Ritts, went for $230,000, according to the AP, and other items included a weeklong stay at Leonardo DiCaprio’s Palm Springs’ pad, which went for $140,000, and a print by artist Tracey Emin, which went for $550,000.
