I bet he was dreaming of doing this for a long time! Will Smith, that is -- dreaming of chopping of son Jaden's light locks that flopped over the top of his head in a funky boho way for the past couple years. Well, Will finally got his wish!

The cool dad took shears to Jaden's head, on Monday, and posted the evidence on Instagram. With 18-year-old Jaden's dreadlocks done and gone, he's ready to start shooting the upcoming film Life In a Year, in which he'll play the boyfriend of a girl dying from cancer, who sets out to give her an entire life's experiences in a year. Daddy Will is producing and Terrence Howard and Nia Long co-star.

Anyway, love the look! It was time for a change!
