Kate Hudson has shaved her head for a new film role, and she showed off the results on Instagram. The actress is working on a secret project with Sia, and apparently her long blonde tresses didn't fit the character.

Demi Moore was the trend setter when she got a buzz cut for G.I. Jane, and since then, countless others have followed suit. Everyone from Cara Delevingne to Kristen Stewart has shorn off their hair in recent months, so it's not even that shocking anymore!

We wonder how long it will take to grow back?
