Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are officially Angelenos after landing a swanky new home in Los Angeles. The couple created worldwide shockwaves in January when it was announced they were leaving the royal family, thereby denouncing their royal obligations.

With news of Meghan returning to show business, it only made sense to plant roots in the City of Angels as she begins the next chapter of her acting career. Not to mention they have a HUGE support system in Los Angeles. Including their new team of Hollywood agents and a slew of public relations and business managers... and of course Meghan's mom, Doria Ragland. The former Suits star has already completed her latest acting gig after lending her voice to the Disney+ production, The Elephant, which premieres April 3.

After leaving the UK, the royal couple first landed in Vancouver Island, Canada, where they resided in a remote mansion. Yesterday, they made the move to Los Angeles via private jet with their 10-month-old son, Archie. A source close to the family says, "Harry and Meghan have left Canada now for good. The borders were closing and flights were stopping. They had to get out." The family remains on lockdown in a secret location in the Hollywood area as the country struggles to slow the spread of coronavirus. On Wednesday, it was announced Prince Harry’s father, Prince Charles had contracted the virus but it remains to be seen whether Prince Harry will make the trip to England to visit his father. Travel restrictions were put in place March 16 and all flights to the UK have been suspended until further notice... but we're sure an exception could be made.

Aside from her return to acting, the 38-year-old Duchess of Sussex is preparing for a series of new endeavors. Meghan has plans to write her second cookbook, a follow up to 2018's Together: Our Community Cookbook and is hoping to relaunch her lifestyle blog, The Tig. She's also looking to release her very own kitchenware line, in addition to continuing her philanthropic work. Meghan will clearly have no trouble keeping herself busy now that she no longer has to fulfill her royal duties!
