Ben Affleck was spotted spending some quality father-daughter time with Violet Affleck as his 20-year-old daughter enjoys some time home from Yale.

The actor and filmmaker took Violet for a drive in his Ford F-150 Raptor, a rather conspicuous choice of wheels given the family's well-known assortment of electric vehicles. The high-performance pickup is certainly a departure from the eco-friendly rides Affleck has been associated with over the years.

The Raptor's imposing size and aggressive styling made the father-daughter outing hard to miss as Ben chauffeured Violet around Los Angeles. The pickup is built for serious off-road performance, with the current Raptor lineup offering high-output engines and four-wheel drive. The V8-powered Raptor R is particularly thirsty, with fuel economy rated at just 12 mpg combined.



Violet, meanwhile, has developed a reputation for being environmentally conscious, making her passenger seat appearance in the gas-powered pickup an amusing contrast. Still, there's nothing quite like getting some quality time with dad, regardless of what's parked in the driveway.

For Ben, who recently turned 54, the outing offered another glimpse of his close relationship with his eldest daughter as she takes a break from her studies at Yale.
