Britney Spears appears to have rekindled her relationship with former bodyguard despite reportedly firing him earlier this year.

The couple were spotted Wednesday afternoon enjoying a cruise in Spears' Black Mercedes G-Wagon.

The pair began spending time together in the months since Spears' March DUI arrest, and were spotted several times together over the summer.

Apparently, they've rekindled their romance as the two were even spotted together at IHOP on Wednesday afternoon, seemingly putting the earlier drama behind them -- at least for now.

Now, rather than keeping their distance, Spears and her former bodyguard/boyfriend appear to be back in each other's company, adding another drama-filled chapter to the pop star's already complicated year.
