Matt Damon caused an uproar when his words were taken out of context and it appeared he suggested that gay actors stay in the closet in an interview with The Guardian, so the actor sat down with Ellen Degeneres to clarify his stance on sexuality in Hollywood.

"I was just trying to say actors are more effective when they’re a mystery. Right? And somebody picked it up and said I said gay actors should get back in the closet. Which is like I mean it’s stupid, but it is painful when things get said that you don’t believe. You know what I mean? And then it gets represented that that’s what you believe. Because in the blogosphere there’s no real penalty for just taking the ball and running with it," he lamented to the talk show host.

In case you missed it, The Martian star opened a dialogue about being homosexual in the movie industry while addressing the gay rumors that plagued him and pal Ben Affleck earlier in their career. Specifically, he pointed to talented British actor Rupert Everett as an example of how revealing your sexual orientation can harm your career trajectory.

"At the time, I remember thinking and saying, Rupert Everett was openly gay and this guy – more handsome than anybody, a classically trained actor – it’s tough to make the argument that he didn’t take a hit for being out. I think it must be really hard for actors to be out publicly. But in terms of actors, I think you’re a better actor the less people know about you period. And sexuality is a huge part of that. Whether you’re straight or gay, people shouldn’t know anything about your sexuality because that’s one of the mysteries that you should be able to play," he was quoted as saying.

It seems like we blinked and the mother-of-three suddenly had the hottest bod of the K clan. We have a feeling fitness fanatic sister Khloe shared some diet and workout tips with her!

We all know that the "breakup diet" is really effective, though. Ever since splitting with Scott Disick this past summer, the brunette bombshell has been making more of an effort to sex up her image and tone up her physique.

She doesn't strike us as the type to jump right back into the dating pool, but The Lord should probably be worried anyways. After all, she's the one with all the money and fame, so it's not going to take her long to find a new love once she decides that's what she wants. Scott, meanwhile, is going to have a tough time finding a chick that turns a blind eye to cheating and wild partying.

What sad news ... Jim Carrey's ex girlfriend Cathriona White has died from an apparent suicide from a suspected drug overdose on Monday, just days after the on-again/off-again couple broke up. Police sources told TMZ that the 28-year-old Irish woman reportedly left behind a suicide note that referenced their recent split, which had occurred on Sept. 24.

ET is reporting that the L.A. County Coroner's Office confirmed that White was found dead at her home in Sherman Oaks, Calif., on Monday night.

The 53-year-old actor just released a statement:

"I am shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona. She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled. My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her. We have all been hit with a lightning bolt."

The couple originally met back in 2012 and dated briefly until ending things in early 2013. In March 2013, Carrey spoke to the Irish Independent about his breakup with the much younger makeup artist.

"I did go out with an Irish girl," he told the publication. "We're not seeing each other anymore. But she is lovely." But as of May 2015, the duo appeared to have reconciled their romance when they were spotted together holding hands in NYC.

The May/December duo appeared to be going strong. On Sept. 16, Carrey last mentioned White on social media when he snapped a photo of "Grand Central, NYC," and wrote on it, "Photo by Cathriona White."

White's final social media post was a telling tweet on Sept. 24 that said, "Signing off Twitter, I hope I have been a light to my nearest and dearest," she wrote. "[Love] to you all."

Justin Bieber is getting candid on some hot topics in the October/November issue of Complex magazine, in which the international superstar appears on the cover looking like a punk rock Houdini. The heavenly heartthrob opened up about his relationship with Selena Gomez, which he likened to a "marriage," as well as going public with his love of Jesus.

The "Baby" singer said of his past love, "I learned a lot. I moved in with my girlfriend when I was 18. Started my own life with her. It was a marriage kind of thing. Living with a girl, it was just too much at that age. But we were so in love. Nothing else mattered."

But it appears as though something else matters now -- his devotion to his religion.

Meanwhile, the 21-year-old told the mag, "I just wanna honestly live like Jesus. Not be Jesus – I could never – I don’t want that to come across weird."

Thanks for clarifying that statement, JB, because otherwise we totally thought you could be the son of God.

"He created a pretty awesome template of how to love people and how to be gracious and kind. If you believe it, he died for our sins."

"We have the greatest healer of all, and his name is Jesus Christ," he added. "And he really heals. This is it. It’s time that we all share our voice. Whatever you believe. Share it. I’m at a point where I’m not going to hold this in."

The Biebs also talked openly about his troubled past, filled with sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll. "I’m not going to say I’m sorry for the things that I’ve done because I think that it allows me to tell a story. I forgot what I was about, what my mom raised me to be. I veered off, and I got tainted."

Khloe Kardashian showed off her Range Rover wrapped in velvet at the studio in LA yesterday, and while we love the car's new look, we have so many questions! Like, what happens if it rains? Or you need a car wash? Or a bird poops on it? We guess if you have enough cash as the reality star, you can simply get it re-wrapped.

"Beast!!!!! @selfmaderyan told me to trust him and he didn't let me down!! Thank you @westcoastcustoms for lacing my range. Yes, he wrapped my truck in velvet and I LOVE it!!! I feel like my car is rocking a Sean John sweat suit,” she captioned a snapshot of the vehicle.

In other KoKo news, it sounds like it won't be long before she kicks boyfriend James Harden to the curb! The reality star allegedly caught wind that the basketball star was being unfaithful, and they had an all-out blowup when she confronted him. "They had a terrible fight after Khloe confronted him and demanded the truth about who he's been seeing behind her back. James isn't the type of guy who'll sit back and take sh*t, and they really got into it. He threw back in her face the fact that he knows she's been creeping around behind his back with her ex [Lamar]," a source dished to Radar.

"James really put her in her place — she was the one calling all the shots, but she doesn’t know what she wants. One week she wants his baby, the next she’s having second thoughts about Lamar, then she wants to be exclusive, then she doesn’t. He has no idea where he stands with her," the source added.

Almost two year's after Paul Walker's death on Nov. 30, 2013, the actor's 16-year-old daughter, Meadow, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Porsche.

According to the lawsuit, Meadow claims the Fast & Furious actor and friend Roger Rodas died after being trapped inside the 2005 Carrera GT.

The teenager's lawyer Jeff Milam said in a statement, "It is with great reluctance that Meadow Walker has authorized the filing of this lawsuit on her own behalf and as heir to Paul Walker's estate."

The documents claim many shocking new details about the crash. The suit wages that Walker’s seat belt "snapped Walker's torso back with thousands of pounds of force, thereby breaking his ribs and pelvis." The documents claim that after the crash the actor was then trapped in the passenger seat for a full minute and 20 seconds before the fire that killed him and his friend erupted, and that Paul was still alive inside the vehicle. “Paul Walker breathed soot into his trachea while the Porsche Carrera GT burned,” the suit alleges.

Previously the police reported that Rodas, who was driving, was going 80 to 93 MPH, but the lawsuit also claims that Rodas was driving between 63 and 71 MPH when he lost control. The lawyer claims that Porsche was aware that the Carrera GTs had a “history of instability and control issues. “The suit argues that Porsche could have prevented the defect had the car been fitted with a Porsche Stability Management System (PSM), which prevents swerving and is standard in many other models."

Milam said, "The bottom line is that the Porsche Carrera GT is a dangerous car. It doesn't belong on the street. And we shouldn't be without Paul Walker or his friend, Roger Rodas."

She wasn't just tardy for the party, she missed the whole thing... so she got the boot!

Kim Zolciak was eliminated from Dancing with the Stars on Monday night after failing to participate in the competition following a mini-stroke she suffered last week. The reality star appeared via Skype on the live broadcast, and explained that her doctor didn't clear her to fly from Atlanta to Los Angeles, where the show is taped. Therefore, she was unable to make it and got kicked off due to the program's strict rules.

The blonde bombshell took to Twitter to express her disappointment over the decision. "I practiced for hours Saturday I was so excited to be there tonight!” she captioned a video with Dovolani. “I just needed a few more days and then I'm cleared to fly! #ImReallySad #ImStrong," she wrote on Instagram.

Her partner Tony Dovolani performed their scheduled routine with another pro, and her also took the opportunity to plead with fans to urge execs to reverse their decision. "I think the producers were fighting until the last minute to keep us in the competition. I want to continue so bad it's not even funny. That's why I put a tweet out there saying, 'Bring us back!' The producers want us back, I want to be back, Kim wants to be back — so the only people they needed to convince was the lawyers," he told Us Weekly.

She was the most entertaining cast member anyways, so maybe they should rethink things!

Kendall Jenner and her mom Kris jetted out of Los Angeles International Airport on Monday afternoon, and while all eyes were on Kendall, PMK looked pretty damn hot too! The ladies were headed to Paris for business, and seeing as Kim, Kylie, Khloe and Kourtney are still in LA, it seems like this trip is just for Kendall and her mama.

And what about big brother Rob Kardashian? We're not sure if this is a new pic or not, but the other day Kendall Instagrammed a snapshot of the two wearing hoodies (Rob's face is complete covered) and she wrote, "Missing you, snuggle buddy." Rob has posted a few selfies here and there, and earlier this summer Kris told E! News, "Rob is living in L.A. right now and he's doing well, finding out what makes him tick and struggling with some stuff," Kris Jenner told E! News earlier this summer. "My job is to be there for him and to love him as hard as I can. Everybody goes through stuff."
