Lamar Odom's best friend, Jamie Sangouthai, did not OD, however he did die from a flesh-eating disease caused by dirty needles.

The 37 died of necrotizing fasciitis, which is a bacterial skin infection, and chronic intravenous narcotism, which is IV drug abuse, according to the L.A. County Coroner.

The Assistant Coroner Ed Winter says that Sangouthai did got to the hospital for the infected arm, but the disease spread quickly.

Sangouthai, who frequently appeared with Lamar and Khloe Kardashian on Khloe & Lamar died Sunday at a hospital in Los Angeles.

A source told Us Weekly, "Lamar is beside himself. This is the worst tragedy."

Sangouthai's friends from Christ the King High School have set up a GoFundMe page to help his family bring Sangouthai's body home to New York to be buried.

Kylie Jenner posted a bunch of Snapchats last night before passing out, and the 17-year-old reality TV starlet goes on a rant about being picked on all her life. Melissa Rivers will be replacing her late mom Joan on E!’s Fashion Police.

Jeff Olde, executive VP of programming and development at E! said in a statement yesterday:

"As an executive producer since the beginning, Melissa helped shape Fashion Police into an iconic TV series that couples fashion with comedy. We are pleased to now also feature Melissa in front of the ‘Fashion Police’ cameras."

Rivers will join hosts Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski on the show and Olde added that the three hosts will be joined by a rotating panel of guests. Rivers is also a co-executive producer of the series, and she said in a statement that she was “excited to be given the opportunity to continue work with my E! and Fashion Police family.”

The show will return onAugust 31 to cover the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, and there will be six more episodes through the end of the year.

What no harness?

After yesterday's epic HarnessGate, Taylor Swift went harness free when she showed off her rockin' bod' as she jetted out of LAX on Wednesday afternoon.

For her flight out of Los Angeles, the "Bad Blood" singer selected a skimpy burgundy circle skirt with a black crop top. The popstar also wore her hair down and shielded her eyes with a pair of cool shades.

We will over prefer seeing Tay in classically girly ensembles over the rare instances she opts for a bizarre tough-girl look. We love T-Swizz prim, proper and put together!

This is shocking! After a year and a half together, A-list couple Sean Penn and Charlize Theron have split, confirms Us Weekly.

One source told the mag that the high-profile called it quits after their recent trip to the Cannes Film Festival -- which is amazing to us since the pair were all over each other both on and off the red carpet during the French fest. The source also said that 39-year-old Theron was the one to call it quits.

Theron and Penn went public with their relationship in January 2014, but had known each other and were friends for decades.

Reports hit that the duo got secretly engaged in December 2014 during a trip to Paris. "There's no ring, but they are committed," an insider told the publication.

In an interview with Esquire UK this past March, Penn said he didn't consider his two marriages to Madonna and Robin Wright to be marriages. Penn now infamously said,

"You say I've been married twice before, but I’ve been married under circumstances where I was less informed than I am today. So I wouldn’t even consider it a third marriage, I’d consider it a first marriage on its own terms if I got married again. I mean, I like the tradition. A friend of mine wrote a line, 'Without tradition, new things die.' And I don’t want new things to die."

Sean may not have wanted things to die -- but it looks like Charlize did. Ouch!

Charlize had been tight lipped about the relationship but did say to Esquire that she was happy to have found Penn but was "shocked" to have fallen for notoriously stormy actor. "I'm a very, very, very lucky girl," she told the mag. "Very lucky. He's hot."

Kim Kardashian got back to work this morning in Culver City after celebrating daughter North's second birthday at Disneyland on Monday, and the reality star was clad in head-to-toe black as she headed into her business meeting. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was ridiculed for her expanding figure and outfit choices the first time she was pregnant, so she seems to be trying her best to downplay her bump with darker colors. It's working!

Expecting her second child isn't slowing down the brunette beauty! Although she's been struggling with some pretty severe morning sickness, she's signed up to speak about the "objectification of women" at The Commonwealth Club of California Inforum event on June 30.

We definitely batted an eye when we noticed that Taylor Swift stepped out to lunch yesterday wearing a harness -- and it seems as though we weren't the only ones perplexed by Tay's odd accessory.

The singer caused quite a scene when she stepped out with her bestie Selena Gomez at Lucques on Tuesday. Yesterday, Taylor showed off her serious stems in a pair of tiny shorts, a graphic t-shirt, a Louis Vuitton x Christian Louboutin bag and of course the very notable lederhosen/harness.

Twitter fans went crazy for the harness, commenting, joking and criticizing the fashion choice, lovingly dubbed "HarnessGate." This morning the "Bad Blood" singer took to social media to explain the sexed-up selection.

Taylor tweeted, “I think you’re ignoring a really important point here… That my harness and I are always ready for a zip line/rock climbing,” she wrote on Tumblr. “Ask yourself.. Are you ready for extreme adventure should it present itself? HARNESS LIFE 2015.”

We love that cheeky response! T-Swizz did slightly defend the people who said she was wearing the harness backwards with some funny hashtags.

Nobody likes to be asked about their alleged infidelity after a long flight!

Patrick Dempsey returned to LA on Monday after coming in second at the legendary Le Mans 24 Hours auto race in France, and the actor was peppered with questions about his alleged affair with a Grey's Anatomy staffer as he made his way to the car to leave the airport.

Although he chose not to comment, his answer is written on his face! The Hollywood hunk seemed annoyed and tense, and we have a feeling we might have hit a hot button! The TV star was suddenly fired from his hit show in April, just a few months after his wife Jillian Fink filed for divorce. Reports soon began circulating that Patrick was sleeping with a young woman that worked on-set, and the odd timing of events certainly didn't quiet the chatter.

"It was obvious to everyone Patrick was [sleeping with] her. It got very messy and emotional on set and became a huge liability. Patrick would remain in his trailer after hooking up with her on set and refuse to come out," a source dished to Radar.

Maybe he just took his role as a doctor too seriously and was giving complimentary check-ups to the woman in question?! NOT!
