Not only did Gwyneth Paltrow cause a major traffic jam in West Los Angeles on Thursday night, but it seems as though the Oscar winner might have had one too many glasses of wine at the Democratic National Committee fundraiser she held at her Brentwood home!

When Paltrow gave a brief speech (well, brief for her -- we know how rambly the Goop founder can get!) she said, "I am one of your biggest fans, if not the biggest," and she then praised Obama's support for equal pay, stating that it's "very important to me as a working mother." Um, we're pretty sure Gwynnie's estimated $19 million annual income puts her in the 1% bracket, so we're not sure why she felt the need to bring THAT up...

Before handing the microphone off to the President, Gwyneth had a little Marilyn Monroe moment and gushed, "You're so handsome that I can't speak properly."

For his part, Obama thanked Gwyn and her kids for "letting us crash your house," and he then used her children as an example of why we need to solve the Ebola crisis. As you know, the first person to bring Ebola to the United States, Thomas Eric Duncan, passed away in Texas last week.

"I want to assure everybody that the likelihood of an epidemic here in the United States is extraordinarily small," Obama said. "But there's a humanitarian crisis that's happening right now in West Africa where children not much older, and in some cases younger than Apple and Moses, are dying on the streets alone." We hope he knows what he's talking about! Because if that turns out like our healthcare reform, we're in trouble...

Not only did Angelina Jolie meet the Queen of England, but HRH made Jolie a dame during a private ceremony! Jolie was presented with the Insignia of an Honorary Dame Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George at a reception at Buckingham Palace, and husband Brad Pitt and the couple's six kids were present as well.

In June Jolie, who has been a United Nations Human Rights Council ambassador for over a decade now, was named as an honorary dame in the Queen's Birthday Honors List for her campaign to end sexual violence in regions of conflict all over the world.

"To receive an honor related to foreign policy means a great deal to me, as it is what I wish to dedicate my working life to," Jolie said. "Working on PVSI and with survivors of rape is an honor in itself. I know that succeeding in our goals will take a lifetime, and I am dedicated to it for all of mine."

Someone's a party animal!

Justin Bieber's been enjoying his Italian getaway over the last few days but all of a sudden, he doesn't want other people documenting his wild nights!

Earlier in the week, the singer stopped by Scholars in Rome for some good tunes, drinks and dancing with some of the local ladies but he quickly went on the offensive after witnessing fellow bar-goers taking some snapshots.

"Yo guys please stop taking pictures and stuff," the 20-year-old implored. "Just enjoy your night, have some drinks, have some fun, you know, but put your cameras down. Put your cameras down and have some fun, man."

He didn't stop there as he noticed some girls doing the opposite of what he wanted. "I see you girls at the back … just put your phones down, man." He's quite the demanding type, huh?

Besides badgering bar patrons for their photography, the Biebs enjoyed some brews and danced with some girls so it wasn't a total wash for the privacy seeking celeb.

On Thursday, George Clooney came back to reality in a unique way as he surprised fans with his random visit to Disney's Tomorrowland panel at Comic-Con in New York City. Best thing is, he went straight after his honeymoon!

The 53-year-old actor, who recently got married to lawyer Amal Alamuddin, joked with everyone in attendance surrounding his surprise stop.

"It's not lost on me that I'm spending my honeymoon at Comic-Con," Clooney quipped. "My wife was as confused about what Comic-Con was as you are."

The cracks continued with Clooney adding, "Since my Batman I’d been disinvited from Comic-Con for about 15 years — sorry about the nipples on the suit."

That sense of humor never ceases!

New dad Ashton Kutcher is back to work!

The techie-for-hire is pushing the new Lenovo Yoga 2 tablet and spoke to his audience during a livestream today.

After fiancee Mila Kunis gave birth to the couple's first child, daughter Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher last week, the actor was back in action today, promoting his "other baby."

The tablet features a 50-inch projector; and Ashton joked: "My kid is only 8 days old, she's not quite reading yet, but when she gets there, I'm sure I'm going to be projecting bedtime stories all the time."

Uh, well ... daddy's gotta pay the bills!

Nicole Richie appears on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today, and the 33-year-old reformed party princess talks about new season of Candidly Nicole, but thankfully Ellen kept the chatter to a minimum when she convinced the starlet to stuff handfuls of marshmallows in her mouth. Not only is it hilarious, but Nicole is a pretty good sport about the whole thing!

Nic broke the record for the most marshmallows stuffed into a guest's mouth in 45 seconds, and Ellen awarded the starlet with a marshmallow crown and sash.

Now, if only Ellen could convince Kim Kardashian to do this...

Leave it to hipster couple Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes to come up with a strange baby name for their offspring.

Turns out Hollywood's hottest and most secretive duo has dubbed their daughter, Esmeralda Amada Gosling. How Hunchback of Notre-Dame of them! We guess we're glad they didn't name her something like Seitan or Pressed Juice Gosling.

Little Esmeralda was born last month at Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, Calif. Her name is said to be inspired by Mendes' family -- and it also should be noted that the actress played a character named Amada Juarez in the 2007 crime drama, We Own the Night.

Wearing a wildly colorful ensemble, Paris Hilton jetted off to Dubai on Wednesday -- and in no time the socialite was posting some camel-tastic Instagram pics from the desert. Leave it to Paris to wearing high heels atop a camel!

We love Paris Hilton -- but if that isn't the most over-the-top selfie outfit we've ever seen -- then we don't know what is. It's like she's in a scene from Sex and the City 2.

Paris is in Dubai to make an appearance at the opening of the Clé Dubai restaurant, which features the cuisine of Greg Malouf.

Paris will be joining her sister Nicky, and also Khloe Kardashian (who was on the same flight!) for the star-studded soiree.
