This is just too sad. Here's a guy who was trying to do good and he gets gunned down. Too much gun violence; too much heartbreak; too much loss of life; too many guns.

Rapper Nipsey Hussle was shot in front of his L.A. store Marathon before being rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Hussle, nee Ermias Asghedom, had recently purchased the shopping mall in the Hyde Park neighborhood of L.A. where his Marathon Clothing store was located and where the rapper, 33, owned a barber shop, fish market and burger restaurant. He was making an effort to revitalize the area where he grew up.

Hussle was nominated for a Grammy last year for his debut album Victory Lap, eventually losing to Cardi B. Jay Z once famously bought up 100 copies of Nipsey's mixtape Crenshaw.

Hussle spoke to the Los Angeles Times about wanting to be a good example for young inner-city African-American kids: "In our culture, there’s a narrative that says, ‘Follow the athletes, follow the entertainers.' And that’s cool but there should be something that says, ‘Follow Elon Musk, follow [Mark] Zuckerberg.’ I think that with me being influential as an artist and young and coming from the inner city, it makes sense for me to be one of the people that’s waving that flag."

He had admitted to being part of a gang when he was younger. And prophetically, he had Tweeted just hours before being shot:

Kylie Jenner's speaking to the New York Times about Jordyn Woods and we are THERE for it! In what may be the only NYT article super-Kardashian fans ever read, Kylie has finally uttered former BFF Jordyn Woods' name for the first time since the cheating scandal with Tristan Thompson that's shaken the family to its core.

Okay so -- disclaimer -- the article isn't ABOUT Kylie and Jordyn ... it's about the Kardashian family's empire and about the ladies possibly being the "saviest C.E.O.s" alive. Really? Really!

As an aside, the astute, Kardashian-trivia knowledgable journalist thought to ask about the recent discount of the Jordy Lip Kit -- an apparent shade on her former friend following the Insta-model's hookup with sis Khloe's baby daddy Tristan Thompson. Kylie replied, "This is just not my character. I would never do something like that and when I saw it, I was like, thrown back. Jordyn knows I didn’t actually put it on sale."

Surprise guest appearance by Debbie Rowe! Paris Jackson's mom turned out to support her daughter and her band The Soundflowers as they performed at West Hollywood club The Mint, on Saturday night.

Paris also had support from godfather Macaulay Culkin and his girlfriend Brenda Song and from brother Prince Jackson. Even her publicists Elliot Mintz was there. Of course a strong show of support was no surprise after Paris reportedly made a suicide attempt last week -- which is totally crazy, actually, that she'd be performing a few days later so we're beginning to wonder if a call to 911 for Paris "cutting herself with scissors" was really a suicide attempt or just some weird kitchen accident. Jackson herself vigorously denied the reports.

She looked totally happy and healthy last night with boyfriend and bandmate Gabriel Glenn and friends as they drove off in her Jeep. We hope she's feeling as good as she looks!

Jada Pinkett Smith is taking this beef for a whole new level!

Mrs. Will Smith has UNFOLLOWED Khole Kardashian and Kris Jenner after the cheating scandal between Jordyn Woods and Tristan Thompson has apparently DESTROYED their long-term friendship;

The Kar-Jenners and Smiths have been family friends for ages but the Smiths have been friends with Jordyn Woods' family for even longer. When news broke that Jordyn had hooked up with Khloe's baby daddy Tristan Thompson, Jada used her platform as the host of Red Table Talks to give Jordyn the chance to tell her truth about the situation. Frankly, it backfired.

The family was pissed when Jordyn went on Pinkett-Smith's show and denied sleeping with Thompson -- in fact, Khloe even Tweeted, after the episode aired, "Why are you lying @jordynwoods ?? If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story. BTW, You ARE the reason my family broke up!"

She later apologized for the outburst and said it was 100% Tristan's fault. But still ... Kylie has ghosted Jordyn and the entire family has blacklisted her. So Jada's unfollowing of Kris and Kim on social media appears to be a stance in favor of Jordyn. The Smith family is throwing their support behind the young model/eyelash entrepreneur, basically saying she just made a simple mistake -- the type young people always make.

Well ... Jada unfollowed the ladies on Instagram which, in 2019, you can't get more serious than that, right! For a grown woman to make a move like this and claim she's all about friendship and loyalty and girl power ... seriously? TMZ reports the two families' relationship is "severely fractured." But guess what -- when you support the cheater and don't try to see both sides of the story, at least, relationships get fractured! Doesn't Jada have ANY sympathy for the pain this has caused Khloe?! She speaks! Kardashian-Jenner matriarch Kris Jenner called in to Ryan Seacrest's radio show, on Friday, to break her silence about the cheating scandal that rocked the family -- Kylie's BFF Jordyn Woods hooking up with Khloe's baby daddy Tristan Thompson.

She told Ryan, who's a close family friend AND a producer on KUWTK, "First of all, I pray about it. I really do. I find that, you know, just the spiritual side of me has to kick in because otherwise, you know, I feel like I wouldn’t survive."

She went on: "As challenging as some of these situations are, I think that because [my kids] have one another and they try to make really good decisions, that they’re gonna come out the other side with a lot of clarity and a lot of honesty and do what they feel like is the right thing. And I really trust all of my kids to make those good decisions."

Jenner credits the family's reality show with bringing difficult-to-discuss topics, like this, to the forefront: "People watch the show and we remind them of things that their family might be going through, or things that they’re experiencing, or don’t want to talk about. And suddenly here it is, you know, right there for them to watch and see how we might handle it, or go through it, because it’s real. I think that some of the stuff that we’ve been able to show … has been really beneficial."
