It was Pharrell Williams' night at the B.E.T. Awards in Los Angeles tonight, as he beat out competitors to take prizes for Best Male R&B/Pop Artist and Best Video, for "Happy."
Drake beat out Jay Z for Best Male Hip-Hop Star. But Jay and wife Beyonce took the prize for Best Collaboration for "Drunk In Love" and Beyonce won Best Female R&B/Pop Artist.
A recently-released-from-prison Chris Brown had his fingers crossed for prizes in three categories - Video of the Year for "Fine China," Best Male R&B/Pop Artist and Video Director of the Year. He performed his latest single "Loyal."
This year's it-girl, Luupita Nyong'o won the Best Actress prize for her role in
12 Years a Slave.
August Alsina took home the award for Best New Artist and Lionel Richie was honored with a Lifetime Achievement award.
Chris Rock hosted the show, calling it the "black World Cup."

Guess it was date night for all celebs!
Somewhat following in the footsteps of other Hollywood
couples, Fergie and Josh Duhamel did some fine dining of their own when they hit up Katsuya in Brentwood on Saturday.
The Black Eyed Peas singer rocked a Bruce Lee t-shirt under her blue flannel while the
Safe Haven star sported a cool dress shirt and jeans. Not pictured is their adorable son Axl, who was probably getting some r&r at home after spending the day at the zoo earlier.
Glad these two got some alone time after their long day!

Britney Spears showed off her silly side as well as her new Saturday ritual in an adorable Instagram post yesterday featuring her boys Sean and Jaden and of course her pups during a morning stroll.
The 32-year-old pop star's weekend is a stark contrast to her Planet Hollywood residency in Las Vegas, in which she's currently on hiatus from.
Brit Brit won't be bored for much longer as has been offered $12 million to extend her two-year residency until Christmas 2016 according to reports.
The figure isn't as much as her reported $30 million for her current contract but it's a sweet raise!

Engaged couple Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl finally tied the knot over the weekend as the two got married on Saturday.
The 28-year-old former reality star and the German model exchanged I dos at an intimate ceremony in Bedford, New York. After which, the bride was happy to share the news via social media:
Palermo and Huebl started dating in 2008 after meeting through mutual friends and got engaged earlier this year while spending the holiday in St. Bart's.
This is just the tip of the iceberg for the beautiful couple as it's been reported that they're planning a larger, more extravagant wedding ceremony for next year.

Yesterday, Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner took the trip from NYC to the Hamptons to join Kourtney Kardashian for a quaint all-girls lunch.
Kim kept things simple in a cute black dress while Kris donned a black and white sweater/jeans combo. Kourtney chose a different path for her afternoon wear with an elegant looking ensemble of an opposite color. Fashion wars!
It seems the entire family was in the upscale Long Island area after Khloe Kardashian's huge 30th birthday
party.
They have to unwind too!

This isn't the first time the couple got caught being cute in the stands as they were seen smooching on a Kiss cam at a L.A. Clippers game back in March, before news of her pregnancy.

Nothing like singers taking it to the blacktop!
In anticipation for their annual awards show, BET gathered all the star power it could for the Sprite Celebrity Basketball Game during the 2014 BET Experience and featured a couple of prominent pop stars: Justin Bieber and Chris Brown!
The two were on opposite sides for the game as they showed off their respective basketball prowess in the star-studded match. For Chris, this was a precursor for the main event as he will be taking the stage at this year's BET Awards show for the first time since his release from jail.
"People deserve a second chance," CEO Debra Lee said. "After he had done his service and his time, we, as a team, decided it’s OK to have Chris back, and let’s see how the audience feels."
We're sure Chris will kill it!

Last night, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie decided to leave the kiddies at home and make it date night as they opted for a fancier pick at Ago in West Hollywood.
The upscale Italian restaurant, owned by famed actor Robert De Niro, came with some extra perks for the A-list couple as they arrived via a side entrance... behind some plants. Talk about VIP treatment!
The pair were probably celebrating Jolie's latest feat: her film
Maleficent reached over $520 million in worldwide box offices sales, beating out her film with Pitt
Mr. & Mrs. Smith, which achieved $478.2 million back in 2005.
Congrats Brangelina!
