While Angel may be ready to go public with the same-sex relationship, she doesn't think America is ready for the an interracial girl-on-girl union.

Olivia Palermo wed model Johannes Huebl in a "secret, quickie" ceremony at Manhattan City Hall on Saturday, the New York Post reports.

Although the couple had planned to tie the knot in St. Barths this fall, they moved up the date because the German cat walker was facing visa issues and might have been forced to leave the United States.

"They were planning a big wedding in the fall, but Johannes left Wilhelmina Models last year, and he currently isn’t with an agency, and was told he would have to leave the US in September," a source dished to Page Six, adding, " Olivia’s friends were surprised when they got married at City Hall on Saturday, with the only guests being his friend Ulli Saeuberlich and her parents, who weren’t happy with the rush, but decided to be there at the last minute."

The pair will celebrate their seven year anniversary this coming November.

"The View will be moving in an exciting new direction next season and ABC has made decisions to evolve the show creatively," ABC said in a statement issued yesterday.

Umm we have a feeling that the former Singled Out star didn't walk away from the high-profile gig because "sisters stick together." We have a feeling that producers wanted something different from the anti-vaccination queen.

CNN is reporting that Shepherd has known for months and was ready to leave. The news outlet also added that Shepherd kept mum on the news because she didn't want to upstage Barbara Walters' retirement in May.

Now that Walters has retired from the couch, Whoopi Goldberg will be the only remaining co-host.
