Kanye West covers the new issue of Interview magazine, and as always, the 36-year-old rapper gives all sorts of ridiculous quotes to 12 Years a Slave director Steve McQueen, who had the great honor of interviewing him. As usual, here are the highlights:

On people trying to silence him:

“People are strategically trying to do things to mute my voice in some way or make me look like I’m a lunatic or pinpoint the inaccuracies in my grammar to somehow take away from the overall message of what I’m saying.”

On family life with Nori and fiance Kim Kardashian:

"It's all brand new, how it feels to be a father. There are some things that I understand, certain things that I don't understand, certain things that I like to get off my chest in interviews, certain things that I want to talk about. But when we talk about love, I don't have an answer. All I can say is that I'm happy I have it."

On his laughably bad “Bound 2? video with Kardashian:

"I think people are afraid of dreams, and that video is one of the closest things to the way that dreams look and feel, or the way joy looks and feels, with the colors. You know, I think there are rules to fashion, with the all-black everything, and rules to art, with white galleries. There are rules to how a lot of things are: the concrete jungle, stone pavement, brick walls. There are even rules to what a Brooklyn apartment looks like. But this video completely didn't respect any of those rules whatsoever. [laughs] It's a dream, and I think the controversy comes from the fact that I don't think most people are comfortable with their own dreams, so it's hard for them to be comfortable with other people's dreams.”

On his background in the arts:

“I’m a trained fine artist. I went to art school from the time I was 5 years old. I was, like, a prodigy out of Chicago ... I’d been in national competitions from the age of 14. I got three scholarships to art schools ... and I went to the American Academy of Art. So the joke that I’ve actually played on everyone is that the entire time, I’ve actually just been a fine artist. I just make sonic paintings, and these sonic paintings have led me to become whatever people think of when you say 'Kanye West.'"

On his struggle to get people to back him:

“I went around and showed people what I’d done and said, ‘Hey, I made “Watch the Throne,” I made this amount of music for the past 10 years, I have this level of visuals, this level of communication, I can sell this many albums, and I also have these new inventions. Will anybody help me out?’ I met with 30 billionaires, 30 companies, and basically everyone said, ‘F*ck you.’ I said, ‘How could this happen? How could not one person want to invest in these different ideas?’"

Jay Z and wife Beyonce Knowles brought their daughter Blue Ivy to Frankies Spuntino for lunch in New York City on Sunday, and after their meal X17 photographers snapped the rapper giving his two-year-old daughter a sweet smooch.

Earlier this month the proud parents celebrated Blue's second birthday by renting out the Miami animal park Jungle Island, and Bey posted photos on her Tumblr from the bash. Little Blue (who isn't so little anymore!) wore a tiara, and there was a whole lotta face paint at the party too.

Over the weekend Heidi Klum took sons Johan and Henry and daughter Leni to their soccer games in Brentwood, and X17 photographers also snapped the supermodel playing at a nearby park with her youngest daughter Lou.

Heidi's bodyguard/beau Martin Kristen was noticeably absent from the group, but the America's Got Talent judge was joined by her mom Erna, who helped keep an eye on the kiddos.

Heidi and Martin have been dating for about a year and a half, and while they haven't announced any plans to get married, we're pretty sure he's living with the family in Heidi's new $9.8 million Bel-Air home...

Over the weekend Fergie and Josh Duhamel had his and hers workouts, with the singer going for a power walk while her hunky hubby cruised around their neighborhood on a bike. Fergie was quite polite with X17 photogs, but her "Commes des F*** Down" baseball hat was on the sassy side!

Fergie later swung by the couple's Brentwood home, which is still undergoing massive renovations. Wonder when Fergs and Josh and little Axl will finally get to move in?!

The night before the duo went out for a concert, and Ferg tweeted the adorable snapshot below and wrote, "Loved seeing #EaglesForum at @theforum last night. Mommy & daddy night out!"



Such a cute couple!

They may not be able to sing or dance and they'll never earn an Oscar for their acting abilities, but the Kardashians do know a thing or two about dressing to impress!

Over the weekend Khloe, Kourtney and Kylie (and mom Kris!) went to a friend's baby shower, and while it seems like they planned out their looks, Kourt wrote on Instagram, "No one told us to dress like this, we've just got it like that."

Khloe rocked a cropped white top and pencil skirt combo that's very similar to what big sister Kim wore the other day, and though it looks like snatched this from her sister's dirty laundry pile closet, it's actually different items of clothing. Still, wonder if Kim is annoyed or flattered that Khloe copied her look?

Over the weekend Reese Witherspoon and son Deacon headed to a yoga class in Brentwood, and after that the duo ran errands and then headed home to hang with the rest of the family.

Just last week X17 photographers snapped Reese leaving the same class with fellow actress Naomi Watts, and the ladies shared a laugh and stopped to grab smoothies. Between yoga and spin class, Reese has been busting her booty with the cardio lately ... gotta look good during awards season!

Yesterday Kristin Cavallari posted the above photo on Instagram and wrote, "Gym selfie….baby bump getting big!" Lookin' good!

The former reality starlet and hubby Jay Cutler are expecting their second child together early this spring, but she still hasn't confirmed whether she's having a boy or a girl.

Late last year K. Cav chatted with ABC News and revealed that she'd like to have a daughter, but she's fine with two boys too. "Of course I want a little girl, I think it would be a ton of fun, but a boy would be great too," Cavallari said. "Then Camden would have a little buddy, and I'd still be the girl of the house. I can see him being a little jealous at first, but once he gets over that initial reaction, I think he'll be really excited because he'll have a buddy to play with."

We always forget how much these two resemble one another!

Gwyneth Paltrow and her younger brother Jake posed for photos at the premiere of his new movie Young Ones at the Eccles Center Theatre in Park City, Utah on Saturday evening. In addition to his Oscar winning sister, Jake's godfather Steven Spielberg showed his support as well. While Jake has directed his fair share of films and TV shows, it must be nice to have some big names on hand to help promote his latest project!

Young Ones is "set in the future when water is hard to find a teenage boy sets out to protect his family and survive," according to a plot synopsis on IMDb.

Wonder if Gwynnie would ever act in one of her brother's films?
