The press release announcing the casting say Affleck's Batman will be "an entirely new incarnation of the character." Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburn and Diane Lane will all return to reprise their roles in the film, slated for release July 17, 2015.

“We knew we needed an extraordinary actor to take on one of DC Comics’ most enduringly popular Super Heroes, and Ben Affleck certainly fits that bill, and then some. His outstanding career is a testament to his talent and we know he and Zack will bring new dimension to the duality of this character,” Warner Bros. exec Greg Silverman said in the announcement.

Taking a page from the book of KStew, Rob Pattinson slams his fans in a new interview with the German edition of Interview, and not only that, but the Dior Homme spokesmodel says he doesn't even wear cologne!

According to a translation on the Huffington Post, Rob tells the mag,

“The real odd thing about this Twilight target group is that they aren’t really teenagers. Most of them are older. Twilight has its own parallel world, its own fan culture that has been forming on the net since day one. And in an intense way that has never existed before. Sometimes I ask myself what these masses of people do the whole day. They sit in front of their computers and comment on anything having even remotely to do with Twilight.”

When asked what his pals think about the nickname RPatz, Rob replied, "Fortunately they ignore it. Just like Twilight. But regarding RPatz: I’d like to strangle the guy who came up with it!" So who's responsible for the catchy moniker? "Some fat celebrity blogger … let’s just leave it at that."

So what about the nude scenes he's done over the years?

"[B]y now, it’s okay, at least if I feel like I worked out enough," he says. "But even then it’s more difficult for me than others on set. Just imagine meeting Juliette Binoche for the first time and ten minutes later you’re supposed to shot a sex scene with her. That’s brutal. With the Dali production in Spain it was really bad, almost embarrassing: we hung out at a swimming pool and were supposed to loosen up a little. I clang to the edge of the pool and before I was even able to turn around the Spanish guy was already naked. He happily swam over to me and I had no idea what to do. I felt like Mr. Bean. How awkward! And speaking of that, Rob also gripes about the pitfalls of fame and how creeped out he gets by fans who think they have some sort of a special relationship with him. Rob says, "The internet changed a lot. If you Google something long enough you will soon know everything there is to know about me: what I eat, what my poop looks like, with whom I’m sleeping, what my d*ck looks like, even what I look like when I masturbate…"

Whoa! Either the translation is slightly off or this is a sassy side of the British hunk that we've never seen before!

The actress was spotted strutting her stuff though the streets of Santa Monica, Calif., wearing a denim shirt, floral-print pants, nude sandals and an over sized scarf. The Fantastic 4 star had lunch out in the breezy neighborhood with a few friends and afterwards was photographed cleaning her teeth with a toothpick. We hope she got whatever she was looking for!

Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish were spotted enjoying their seaside vacation with their sons, Elijah Joseph Daniel and Zachary Jackson Levon, in Saint Tropez, France, on Aug. 22, 2013. And of course John paired his resort wear with a bright pair of sunglasses!

Despite undergoing surgery for appendicitis on August 1 in Monaco, the "Rocket Man" appears to be recovering nicely with this sun-drenched holiday in the south of France. The 66-year-old cancelled all of his summer shows after his medical emergency in order to take time to recuperate.

Earlier on the trip, the couple was spotted soaking up the rays on a yacht with their young boys and a group of friends, including Neil Patrick Harris, David Burtka and their two children.

Speaking of his relationship with Kim, Kanye told her mom, "I could have people say, 'This is going to damage your credibility as an artist or designer.' And I say, you know, I don't care, I love this woman. Or someone could say, when the paparazzi surround you, people everywhere know you don't like paparazzi, but why you be with this person, and I'm saying I'm being with this person because I love this person. She's worth it to me." After mentioning the recent passing of his grandfather Portwood Williams, Sr., West added, "His whole thing was about joy, having joy in his life. [Kim is] my joy. She brought my new joy into the world..." Awwww!

West also opened up about the 2007 death of his mother, and he got rather emotional. "There were times [after her death], I would put my life at risk. I didn't have something to live for," he said. "Now I have two very special people to live for, a whole family to live for, a whole world to live for."
