Bombs away!

Lindsay Lohan's comeback film The Canyons bombed at the box office, making a measly $30,100 in the two weeks since its release.

The movie, which cost just $250,000 to make, marks Lilo's biggest flop to date. Even her lackluster flick Herbie: Fully Loaded made $64 million.

This is just the latest in a string of bad role choices! Her 2012 cable movie Liz & Dick failed to bring about the career comeback she was shooting for.

All hope is not lost yet, though!

According to reports, Oscar winner Ben Affleck visited the troubled starlet while she was in rehab, and the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the possibility of her taking on a role in his new movie Live by Night.

On Thursday the ladies (plus dad Bruce and brother Brody) jetted off to a "secret location," but thanks to their Instagram photos, it was pretty easy to figure out where they were. The group went to the Alien Research Center in Crystal Springs, Nevada, and it looks like they also visited Area 51. Wonder what inspired them to do this?

Katy Perry is crushing it in crushed velvet. Clearly proving the '90s are back, the "Roar" singer rocks it out in a short, red, crushed velvet dress, tights and combat boots as she arrive to Sirius Radio in New York City on Monday. And just like Corey Hart, Katy also likes to wear her sunglasses at night.

Over the weekend, the California Gurl's gold Prism semi-truck was hit by a drunk driver collided with it while in a Walmart parking lot in Pennsylvania.

Katy tweeted, "The #Prism is bumped & bruised but she is a champion! She will return …"

Despite the setback, the gold truck made it's triumphant return in no time. In a publicity stunt to promote her new album Prism, the singer emerged from the back of her revamped golden truck into the streets of New York City on Monday.

Meanwhile, "Roar," the first single off her new album, was leaked over the weekend, days before it's scheduled release date of today. And this just in -- we already knew Katy and on-again beau John Mayer were doing a duet on his upcoming album Paradise Valley, and today we got our first listen at the new track, "Who You Love."

Mayer sings, "My girl, she ain't the one that I saw coming / sometimes I don't know which way to go / and I tried to run before but I'm not running anymore / 'cause I fought against it hard enough to know / that you love who you love who you love / you can't make yourself stop dreaming of who you're dreaming of / if it's who you love, then it's who you love."

Perry then sings back, "My boy he ain't the one that I saw coming / and some have said his heart's too hard to hold / and it takes a little time / but you should see him when he shines / 'cause you never want to let that feeling go / when you love who you love who you love."

Earlier this month President Barack Obama made a few comments about the lifestyle of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in an interview with Amazon, and Kris Jenner fired back on her talk show on Friday.

Reporter David Blum asked Obama about the American dream, and the president noted that the dream used to be about having a good home, a good job, and the possibility of higher education. However, things are dramatically different this days, thanks to social media and the obsession with celebrity culture. "There was not that window into the lifestyles of the rich and famous," he said. "Kids weren't monitoring every day what Kim Kardashian was wearing, or where Kanye West was going on vacation, and thinking that somehow that was the mark of success." Wait ... isn't Kanye on vacation in Greece right now -- without Kim???

What did Jenner have to say? "It's really great that people aspire to get a great job ... but I wasn't aware that you could only set the bar so high and that we could only dream so big," she whined on her show. "I was taught: Dream big, work hard and you could have whatever you wanted."

“I bet the President has some friends with 10,000 square foot houses and that he wouldn’t mind going over there," she said. "When [he was] asking them to have a party for [him] while [he was] campaigning for dollars to run for president.”

Jenner continued, "I find it so odd that he's picking on Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Well, Kanye West, first of all, doesn't go on vacation. Ever. And Kim Kardashian is the hardest-working young lady in the world. She never sleeps, she never stops, she never slows down and works so hard for what she's got."

Adam Lambert grabbed a bite at Crossroads restaurant in L.A. last night, and after the American Idol alum hit Chateau Marmont for a night cap. We wonder if he ran into Lady Gaga at the famed celeb haunt?

The singer just landed a recurring role on Glee, and he's also stepping in as the front man for Queen when they perform at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on September 20.

Over the weekend, a low-quality version of Lady Gaga's new single, "Applause," got leaked and true-to-form, the in-your-face singer took control of the situation and released the official version of the hotly awaited song one week prior to its scheduled debut. On Monday morning, Lady Gaga tweeted,"POP MUSIC EMERGENCY #0DAYSTillAPPLAUSE MY NEW SINGLE COMES OUT TODAY. 911 SPREAD THIS MESSAGE."

Subsequently, Mother Monster also tweeted that the song could soon be heard on airwaves. "MY NEW SINGLE 'APPLAUSE' IS OUT TODAY AND CAN BE HEARD ON UNITED STATES RADIO IN 15 MINUTES. INTERNATIONAL RADIO TO FOLLOW."

J-Law is the September issue! At only only 23 years old, Jennifer Lawrence has landed Vogue's highly coveted "September Issue." Not bad for a self-described "wierdo" from Kentucky!

In the pics taken by legendary photographer Mario Testino, the Hunger Games actress smiles as she plays with some pups, looks sultry amid a fleet of flowers and graces the fashion mag's cover with sexy bedroom hair, a black dress, smoky eyes. We are digging this spread!

In the interview, the Oscar-winning star talked openly about her awkward childhood, and said that as a child she always knew she was going to be famous -- she didn't know how but she always knew it would happen.

"Ever since I was really little, I've always had a very normal idea of what I wanted. I was going to be a mom and I was going to be a doctor and I was going to live in Kentucky. But I always knew that I was going to be famous. I honest to God don't know how else to describe it. I used to lie in bed and wonder: Am I going to be a local TV person? Am I going to be a motivational speaker. It wasn't a vision. But as it's kind of happening, you have this buried understanding: Of course."

Soothsayer or no soothsayer, Lawrence certainly called it -- she is irrefutably famous. However, while she may have dreamed of super stardom since childhood, the Kentucky native is now facing the harsh realities of what it means to be world famous as an adult.

"I teeter on seeming ungrateful when I talk about this. But I'm kind of going through a meltdown about it lately. All of a sudden, the entire world feels entitled to know everything about me. including what I’m doing on my weekends when I’m spending time with my nephew. And I don’t have the right to say, ‘I’m with my family.' … I am just not okay with it. It's as simple as that. I am just a normal girl and a human being and I haven't been in this long enough to feel like this is my new normal. I'm not going to find peace with it."

Sorry J-Law -- your 15 minutes doesn't seem to be winding down any time soon. And we certainly don't mind -- we love Lawrence's real-girl attitude.

Over the weekend Cameron Diaz and a gal pal were snapped leaving a local grocery store in the Hamptons, and it looks like the ladies were stocking up on all sorts of goodies for a cook out!

While Cameron has been enjoying her girl back east, it sounds like she's ready to get back on the dating scene. Last month the 40-year-old actress chatted with pal Kelly Ripa at a party in the Hamptons, and a witness told In Touch, “Cameron told Kelly she’s desperate for a boyfriend. She wants Kelly to line her up some dates.”

"Cam told Kelly to set her up with hot, athletic guys,” the source added. "She told Kelly she misses being in a relationship and always ends up being attracted to guys who won’t settle down."
