It's summertime and the livin's easy for Vanessa Hudgens.
The actress went from lounging on a yacht in a bikini to accepting an award in a stunning gown in a matter of hours. The brunette beauty spent Friday dancing and meditating in the middle of the ocean in Ischia, Italy alongside filmmaker friends Eli Roth and Terry Gilliam. Later that night, she attended the Ischia Global Film Fest where she received the Icon Award.
She swapped out the black sequined teeny tiny bikini for a long green sequined dress that covered her from head to toe (it had a hoodie). The actress looked elated when picking up her seahorse-shaped statuette. Famed
Great Gatsby director Baz Luhrman was awarded the Luchino Visconti Legend Award on the same night.
Her co-star Nicolas Cage will be being honored as a "film legend" by the festival after the premiere of their new film
The Frozen Ground on Saturday. Vanessa plays a prostitute in the gritty drama.

You can take the man out of France, but you can't take the Frenchman out of him.
Newly married Olivier Martinez got his baguette fix in Beverly Hills on Friday. He was spotted grocery shopping at Bristol Farms with his shiny gold band. We wonder if he's planning a romantic homemade meal for Halle Berry.
The actors wed in France last week in front of an intimate group of 60 guests at the Chateau des Conde in Vallery. Halle, who's been married twice before, is expecting her first child -- a baby boy with Martinez in October. So when are the lovebirds going to go on their honeymoon?

This Disney mouse is a bonafide fox!
Selena Gomez oozes with sex appeal in her new music video "Slow Down," which leaked online Friday amid reports that her on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber partied with two girls at a New York City nightclub. The pop star allegedly took the ladies back to his hotel on Tuesday night.
In the vid, the singer struts through the City of Lights in sultry style. "Midnight in Paris" just took on a whole new meaning. She swaps the city lights with neon strobes once she hits the club in a barely there outfit. In case
Spring Breakers and her "Come & Get It" music video weren't convincing enough, Selena wants the world to know that she's all grown up ... not a girl, but not yet a woman.
Bustier dress? Check! Midriff-baring top? Check! Plunging blazer with short tuxedo shorts? Check and check! Take that, Biebs!

In the wake of Cory Monteith's tragic death last week,
Glee execs have pushed back the show's fifth season premiere. New episodes will now air two weeks behind schedule on Sept. 26 instead of Sept. 19.
"In light of the tragic passing of beloved
Glee cast member Cory Monteith, the series' executive producers, 20th Century Fox Television and Fox Broadcasting Company have jointly decided to delay the start of production of
Glee until early August," Fox told
Us Weekly in a statement. "No further details are available at this time."
An autopsy revealed that Cory overdosed on heroin and alcohol in his Vancouver hotel room on July 13. He was 31.
The close-knit
Glee cast, which includes Cory's girlfriend, Lea Michele, has expressed devastation over the star's untimely passing. Jane Lynch held back tears while speaking about Cory , who she described as a "bright light," to Jay Leno on Wednesday.
"Cory had one of the biggest hearts, a real bright light. He was one of those guys," she said. "He knew he was breathing rarefied air -- the gift that this wonderful show gave us. I don't think he left one day unlived. He was a real bright light in our family we've lost a really great guy."
Update: In his first public statement since Cory's death, Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy told
Deadline that the young actor was "like an older son" to him. After consulting with Lea, the cast and crew decided that the best way to tackle their grief "was to return to work and mourn together."
We considered every option, and decided to do what the cast and crew felt best, the people who had something unique with Cory, who loved him. They wanted to be back on the set, where there is a sense of security, and where they can grieve together and talk about him. When that happens, we will have grief counselors for the first two weeks to help everyone through it. We had already written the two part Beatles tribute and we’ll shoot those and Cory’s tribute for that third episodes and then we will take a long hiatus and figure out what to do.
Ryan, who staged an intervention for the young star and forced him to go to rehab, was extremely invested in Cory's sobriety. He said he noticed that something was off about Cory a few weeks before his death.
A couple of weeks ago, he and Lea came to Fire Island where we were shooting The Normal Heart, and I honestly couldn’t tell what was going on with him. He didn’t seem quite himself, but when I confronted him he claimed he was clean. It has been a very difficult roller coaster ride, and all through that, and through the last week, Lea has been the most brave and courageous person I’ve ever met. She has dealt with an impossible situation with more humanity than you could ever hope for.

Cee Lo Green sure knows how to turn heads.
The flashy
Voice judge took his matte black Speedster convertible for a spin on Friday in Beverly Hills. Wearing a red and white striped tank and red-framed shades, the singer matched his luxury car's whitewall tires and red accents. The sweet ride also had chrome rims and side pipes. It was over-the-top and old school, just like its owner.
The Gnarls Barkley singer and his female companion were all smiles for the cameras and for onlookers as they cruised through Los Angeles' Sunset Strip. At one point, Cee Lo even drove the car without his hands on the wheel. Look ma, no hands!
The ostentatious star should buy a bumper sticker that reads "my other ride is a Fisker Karma." He recently joined an elite club of A-listers (like Justin Bieber and Leonardo DiCaprioto) who invested in the eco-friendly super car. I guess he really is green ...

Reunited and it feels so good!
The romantic comedy dream duo of Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler are back together. The actors filmed scenes for their new movie
Blended in Hollywood on Friday. It's been nine years since they last starred opposite each other in
50 First Dates.
Their new movie maintains the same first date premise as Adam and Drew's characters go on a horrible blind date. They later find themselves stranded at a family resort with their children from previous marriages. Their kids cheer on the romance.
The Frank Coraci-helmed film also stars E! heavyweights Joel McHale and Chelsea Handler.
The actors first sparked an onscreen romance in 1998's
The Wedding Singer. We can't wait to watch their natural chemistry come May 23, 2014.

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's supermom!
Jennifer Garner was back on mommy duty on Friday after returning from a business trip in New York City. The natural beauty was makeup free and dressed down in her signature casual wear. She looked elated to be reunited with her kids while running errands in Santa Monica.
The mother of three carried her youngest tot Samuel and held hands with Seraphina as Violet walked close behind. Her two girls, who were dressed in their karate clothes, helped carry some of the gear they bought from REI.
Jen's jeans, flannel shirt, and flip flops were a far cry from the chic, asymmetrical black dress she wore the night before at the New Face of Max Mara bash -- not the mention the posh duds she sported for the ad campaign. "My style is pragmatic," Jen said in a Max Mara press release. "I like to wear garments that have a real luxurious texture and feel good against the skin."
Max Mara chairman Luigi Maramotti, who also attended the event, said the actress was the ideal fit for his fashion line. "I think it’s very rare in this industry to meet a person who embodies the values of a company that is over 60 years old," he told
WWD. "It’s really a perfect match. She’s really special to us."

Kanye West assaulted a photographer at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday afternoon, shoving him to the ground and yelling at him after the lensman tried to snap a few photos of the rapper.
Kanye came out of the terminal, and as soon as the videographer (NOT one of ours) started filming him, Kanye allegedly grabbed the man by the shoulders, punched him and tried to wrestle the camera from his hands. An X17 photographer on the scene tells us that Kim Kardashian's baby daddy even put his foot on the photographer's face!
Paramedics were called to the scene, and the photographer was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. Kanye and his bodyguard left in their car.
UPDATE:
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Airport Police said in a statement to X17online:
"Today at approximately 2:00 p.m., at the Tom Bradley International Terminal (on the arrival level curbside), Los Angeles Airport Police officers were flagged down by a citizen (photographer) who alleged that he was taking pictures of an individual when he was battered by the subject. The alleged subject was not at the location nor was he observed by officers at the scene. LAFD was notified, responded to the location and transported the victim to a local hospital for medical attention. A police report was taken by the Los Angeles Police Department and the investigation is ongoing."
