The fifth season of Glee will return this September, and producers are still trying to figure out what to do with Cory Monteith's beloved character Finn.

Though no official decisions have been made, a source close to the show tells HollywoodLife:

"There has been talk about writing the first few episodes around old footage of Cory from the show and actually have Finn be alive for a bit in order to lead into a more emotional goodbye so it doesn’t feel sudden. The producers are weighing what the cast and his family think of the idea, and of course Lea Michele, to see if it’s at all plausible to attempt. Regardless, they want to do any angle with dignity."

Reportedly Glee has halted production until early August and its fifth season's premiere date has been moved back to September 26.

The 31-year-old actor was found dead in his room at the Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel in Vancouver on Saturday, and on Tuesday the British Columbia Coroners Service stated that he passed away due to a "mixed drug toxicity" of heroin and alcohol.

On Thursday, Kim Basinger's lookalike daughter posted some fun-filled bikini pics on Instagram of herself, boyfriend Slater Trout and her Emmy-winning dad, jumping off a boat with the caption, "My boys." Looks like her boys are quickly becoming thick as thieves this summer!

Ireland, wearing a baby blue fringe bandeau bikini top and red bikini bottoms, also posted a pic with her pregnant stepmother, Hilaria, relaxing on the boat. Not a bad way to spend the summer if you ask us!

Russell Brand ventured out to grab sushi in L.A. yesterday, and the comedian decided to park his Range Rover in a handicap space while he ran into the restaurant to pick up his order. Naughty naughty!

The comedian was spotted making out with a brunette mystery woman earlier this week at Urth Cafe in West Hollywood, so maybe he was in a rush to snag his California rolls and get back to his lady love?

Is Kanye West trashing Taylor Swift all over again?! Sort of! Just days after Taylor Swift tweeted a jab about at Kanye West's 2009 headline-making Video Music Awards move, Gawker has released an audio recording of what appears to be Kanye West, ranting at the 2009 VMAs about Taylor and other performers.

On Wednesday, Taylor tweeted, "Two VMA nominations!! If you vote and get us one, I promise to keep a firmer grip on the mic this time ;)" And now a two-minute audio clip has been released by Gawker, which allegedly features the Yeezus singer going off that fateful September night on Taylor, Pink and MTV. And what you heard on stage when Kanye stormed the stage as Taylor received the VMA for Best Female Video -- was only the tip of the anger iceberg.

In the clip, Kanye says:

"I wrote my f*ckin' 'Run This Town' verse for a f*ckin' month! When I heard Eminem's verse on the Drake sh*t, I went back and rewrote my shit for two days. I canceled appointments to rewrite! I f*ckin' care! You know what I'm saying? And that's what I'm saying. Because I did that, Taylor Swift cannot win over Beyonce! Because I wrote my verse in two days, Taylor Swift cannot beat Beyonce. As long as I'm alive! And if I'm alive, kill me then! Kill me then! As long as I'm alive, you gon' have to deal with it. 'Cause there ain't gonna be no more motherf*cking Elvises with no James Browns."

Elvis? James Brown? Huh? We are not exactly sure what that means -- other than Yeezy was all sorts of angry that night. Apparently the singer, who MTV did ask to perform that night, was also furious over Pink's high-flying performance.

Kanye continued:

"What the f*ck was Pink performing? Don't nobody know that song. Pink performed twice! Two songs? How the f*ck Pink perform two songs and I didn't even get asked to perform 'Heartless.' 'Heartless' is the biggest song of the year! It had the most spins of the first quarter! I don't know that Pink song! But I noticed that she's pink!"

Since the inflammatory and expletive-laced audio has been released, Pink seems unfazed by the diatribe, tweeting, "Oh come on y'all... If people secretly recorded me and all the shit I talk.... It's all good. All love. And we all still here. Peace please."

We wonder what Taylor thinks of this 2009 blast from the past? Let's hope she takes it in stride.

Kourtney Kardashian headed to a business meeting in Los Angeles yesterday, and the reality star looked laid back and gorgeous in jean shorts, a white shirt, and Converse sneakers. Kim should take style advice from her older sister!

The mother-of-two left son Mason and daughter Penelope at home, and we can only imagine what boyfriend and baby daddy Scott Disick was doing to keep them entertained!

Speaking of Lord Disick, the K sister's momager Kris Jenner recently confessed that she's slightly irked that her children don't have more traditional views on marriage.

"Well why aren't Kourtney and Scott getting married? It's so annoying! I'm a little annoyed. I've tried to just take a backseat and keep my mouth shut... I don't know where they got this, because I'm very old-fashioned," she revealed on The Talk.

Last night Vanessa Hudgens partied with Eli Roth, Joel Schumacher and a slew of other rich and famous folks at Miramare Ischia Ponte for the Ischia Global Fest, and the 24-year-old actress got quite chummy with the sexy director/writer.

Vanessa's never really done a big horror film, so maybe she's trying to flirt her way into Eli's next flick? He cast her pal Selena Gomez in his last film, Aftershock, and we definitely woudn't mind seeing the former High School Musical hottie going that route. I mean, look at her ... how could Eli not want to cast her?

On Thursday evening Christina Aguilera and several pals left Club Eleven in West Hollywood at 2am, and the 32-year-old pop star fell on the sidewalk on the way to her car. While taking a tumble is pretty embarrassing, Christina still managed to look hot, and walking in killer heels is no easy feet, so we'll cut her some slack.

While Xtina was out celebrating last night, we're wondering if she saw the recent results of IHeartRadio's survey ranking her version of "The Star-Spangled Banner" the worst of all time. As you may recall, Aguilera botched the lyrics at the 2011 Super Bowl, and nearly 37% of those polled said hers was the worst they'd ever heard. Given that she's worth an estimated $100 million, we're sure she's not that worried about it...

On his flight to Vancouver earlier this month, Cory Monteith recorded a video message for a young fan, telling her to "stay out of trouble and stay in school." This is believed to be the last video of the 31-year-old Glee star, who died on July 13 from a lethal overdose of alcohol and heroin.

A flight attendant named Sheila apparently asked Monteith to record a quick video for her boyfriend's daughter Mallory, and the star happily obliged. Just a few days later Monteith was found dead in his room at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel in Vancouver, and on Tuesday the British Columbia Coroner's Service stated, "At this point there is no evidence to suggest Mr. Monteith's death was anything other than a most-tragic accident."

The news broke last Saturday evening, which was around the same time Monteith's Glee co-star and girlfriend Lea Michele found out. Monteith's body was found just after noon, and though a pal had been trying to call Michele all day, it wasn't until around 10pm that they were finally able to reach her.

"Lea completely lost her mind," a source tells Us Weekly. "She went crazy, screaming and crying until 3 a.m. ... Lea has been inconsolable and feels like she's been hit by a truck. She didn't know he'd started using again."

Monteith was cremated in Vancouver on Tuesday, and Michele reportedly attended a private viewing with his family. "She's not doing great," another insider said. "She's totally devastated."
