Paris Jackson reportedly cut arm with a meat cleaver early on Wednesday morning and received "numerous stitches" for the cut, according to TMZ. Michael Jackson's only daughter also took "a large number of Motrin pills," hence the Los Angeles Fire Department's statement about responding to an overdose.

The website also reports that Paris wrote a suicide note, and after calling a suicide hotline, the person she spoke with called 911. Around 2am Paris was put on a stretcher and rushed to West Hills Medical Center, where she was placed under a 5150 psychiatric hold for 72 hours.

Sandra Ribera, the attorney for Paris's legal co-guardian Katherine Jackson, said in a statement, "Paris is physically fine and getting appropriate medical attention. Being a sensitive 15 year old is difficult no matter who you are. It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you. Please respect her privacy and the family's privacy."

Jenny McCarthy has waded into shark infested territory once again and insulted Amanda Bynes.

While guest hosting The View yesterday, she told the panel of women that she thinks Amanda could be suffering from a mental illness. Jenny confessed that she was scared of Amanda's Twitter tirade following her post about police officers being at Amanda's home.

"I feel so sorry for her," she said. "Why would you talk bad or upset someone who has a possible mental disorder? So I'm going to stay out of it."

Jenny "upset" the troubled starlet back in May when she tweeted that police had been called to her New York City apartment. "I hope they get her help. Enough of this circus. She needs help," she wrote.

Amanda retaliated by denying that she needed "help" and saying "Aren't u 50 years old? I'm 27, u look 80 compared to me! Why are you talking about me? @JennyMcCarthy you're ugly! Police weren't at my house old lady! Shut the f**k up!"

That definitely shut her up. The Jenny McCarthy Show host deleted her tweets and wrote, "Sorry girl. Looking out for ya."

However, Amanda was uncharacteristically quick to forgive. "Thanks! I'm sorry I offended you! You're beautiful! I was lying! I'll delete our tweets!" she wrote.

When asked by Sherri Shepherd yesterday if the incident scared her, Jenny admitted that it did.

"That's somebody that I'm not going to start a war with," she told the girls.

• A source close to the family tells TMZ that the 16-year-old "threw a fit" last night when she was told she couldn't go to a Marilyn Manson concert on Thursday evening, and she "ran into her room screaming and slammed the door."


• Insiders tell Radar that Paris is "very upset that she will be called as a witness in her father’s wrongful death trial," and that "Wade Robson’s lies about her father" have been weighing on her heavily.


• Paris also feels guilty about hanging out with her biological mom Debbie Rowe. According to a source, Paris "feels as if she is betraying some family members, including her grandmother Katherine, by getting to know her mom." And not only that, but her relationship with her older brother Prince has been strained lately as well. “He doesn’t like her spending time with Debbie,” the source added. “And Prince has been spending more time with his girlfriend."


• And yet another source says Paris has "been struggling to fit in at school.”

Following the news that Paris Jackson was rushed to the hospital early this morning for a suicide attempt, we are now learning more details about her actions and the underlying causes of her distress.

The teenager was rushed to West Hills hospital after she apparently took an unspecified medication in excess, which prompted family members to call the authorities.

“The call came in at 1:27 am it was an overdose call. We responded and a person apparently took some kind of medication. We transported them to a local hospital,” a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department tells X17online.

Not only that, but Michael Jackson's daughter also reportedly slit her wrists.

The wig-wearing blonde gave birth to her son Kash Kade a mere nine months ago!

The TV actress is looking forward to this new chapter in her life!

Paris Jackson was taken to the hospital around 2am on Wednesday morning after an apparent suicide attempt, according to TMZ.

Michael Jackson's oldest daughter was wheeled out of the family's Calabasas home in the gated community of the Oaks on a stretcher, and the 911 caller reportedly stated that Paris had cut her wrists.

Shortly before the incident Paris tweeted, "I wonder why tears are salty?" ... and later the lyrics to the Beatles' song Yesterday, "yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay."

A source on the scene tells X17online that all of the Jackson family's cars are currently at the compound. No word on whether she's been released, but TMZ reports that the 16-year-old is "doing ok."

We're still waiting to hear back from Paris' rep, but a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department released the following statement to X17online:

"This morning at about 1:27am deputies responded to a medical situation at Prado De La Felicidad in Calabasas. Medical treatment was provided to a patient who was then taken to a local hospital."

As you know, Katherine Jackson moved in to a 2-acre estate on Prado De La Felicidad around early 2011 with MJ's three children, Paris, Prince and Blanket.
