The newly sober star plays a former basketball player that loses his wife and family after a struggle with addiction, who then attempts a redemption by becoming the coach of a losing high school basketball team. Talk about art imitating life!

As far as his real life goes, the Oscar winner is currently focusing on his sobriety and his career, after ending his brief fling with Playboy model Shauna Sexton. His ex Jen Garner, meanwhile, has finally moved on and is enjoying a new romance with businessman John Miller.

The father-of-three is reportedly glad his former spouse has a new man in her life, because it takes the focus of his own romantic saga.

"It’s good for Ben. Friends really think this will give him closure and freedom. Ben’s stress levels have been over the top because his crazy love life has been out there and all over the place. And he’s been in and out of rehab which has gotten tons of attention. Now he’s not the only one people are focusing on," a source dished to Radar.

A-Rod created quite the stir the other day by posting a video of himself and J.Lo at game 2 of the World Series. Why is this interesting, you ask? Well, just take a look at that giant diamond ring on her finger!

The MLB legend playfully asked his girlfriend to give a catcher's sign, and the minute she began waving her hands, it was hard not to notice the sparkler on her hand. Fans immediately began congratulating them on an engagement, but they haven't actually said whether or not they're prepping to wed.

The two have been vocal about how seriously they take their relationship, and if he hasn't yet popped the question, it's undoubtedly coming soon!

Kris Jenner sat down with Ellen for an interview, set to air Friday, and the momager chatted all about son-in-law Kanye's recent outbursts and controversies.

“My job as a mom is just to be there for my kids and be support and love them. Kanye’s an amazing son-in-law. He’s an amazing dad and husband and friend and brother-in-law. So we know my son-in-law, Kanye," she began.

"I think what I really want to do is be there to help him be the best version of himself that he can be. You’re always concerned when there’s controversy and drama and things are going on and it’s sometimes worrisome. When you have six kids and extended family and nine grandchildren, there’s a lot going on. And I just want to be there and be supportive and be there if he needs me. That’s really where my heart is," she continued.

"You can’t control what somebody else is doing. I can’t always control what any of them do at any time. It’s a lot. Kim always says, ‘I can’t control what somebody else does,’ and I feel the same way. It’s really hard. You all know, you have kids and they might have a totally different opinion about something or a different view about something. And his are very strong. He has a big voice and he has a lot to say," she added.

As for 'Ye's meeting with Donald Trump in the White House and his verbal diarrhea of outlandish ideas?

"It was very spontaneous. The stuff that they were talking about, when they got to the airplane, I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, that is so Kanye.' He was sharing thoughts and things of himself. But I would rather he share some of that stuff privately. Obviously, it would be great. But I have to be able to show him that I’m here if he needs me, we’re all here if he needs us, and we all want him to be the best he can be. He definitely has his own thoughts and opinions and he gets very excited about that. You’ve known him a long time, I’ve known him a long time, and he does have different sides to him. And this is a side that nobody’s seen before," she confessed.

Megyn Kelly's morning show has been canceled by NBC just days after her controversial blackface comments, multiple reports are confirming.

"They’re contacting the staff and reassigning everyone today. Everyone’s being told that they still have a home here, but it won’t be on Megyn’s show. They haven’t made an official announcement about the show, but everyone knows what it means when they’re being moved somewhere else. The show is clearly over," a source dished to People.

Rumors have long swirled that Kelly was disliked by her co-workers and the Today show family, so it's doubtful that anybody is fighting to keep her. That said, another source insists that the anchor has yet to be notified about any decision regarding the future of her show.

In case you missed it, on Tuesday's show, she basically said that blackface was no big deal during a discussion panel on Halloween costumes.

"But what is racist? Because truly, you do get in trouble if you are a white person who puts on blackface at Halloween or a black person who puts on whiteface for Halloween. Back when I was a kid, that was okay as long as you were dressing up as like a character," she told the shocked audience.

She tried to backtrack and issue an on-air tearful apology the next day, but at that point the damage had been done.

"I want to begin with two words: I'm sorry. You may have heard that yesterday we had a conversation about political correctness and Halloween costumes. ... I defended the idea (of blackface), saying that as long it was respectful and part of a Halloween costume, that it seemed OK. Well, I was wrong, and I am sorry. I have never been a PC kind of person, but it is not OK for (blackface) to be part of any costume, Halloween or otherwise," she said during her opening monologue.

"This past year has been so painful for many people of color. The country feels so divided and I have no wish to add to that pain and offense. I believe this is a time for more understanding, more love, more sensitivity and honor, and I want to be part of that. Thank you for listening and for helping me listen too. For my part, I have been listening and learning, and I am grateful to both of you to have this conversation here on this set today. And to those who reached out to me via Twitter, I've heard you, too," she added.

Craig Melvin later called her comments "indefensible," while Al Roker said she “owes a bigger apology to folks of color around the country.”

A suspicious package was sent to Robert De Niro in Manhattan yesterday, and the New York City Police Department bomb squad was sent in to remove it. The actor is the latest prominent Democrat to receive threatening mail, after Hillary Clinton, Obama, George Soros, and others all were mailed pipe bombs ahead of the midterm elections.

"The package was similar to the other suspicious packages and appeared to be from the same sender. A report about the suspicious package was called in at 5:00 a.m. local time, and authorities removed the package via the NYPD bomb truck at 6:30 a.m," an NYPD rep told People.

A similar package was sent to the CNN headquarters and caused an evacuation of the building, and so far no suspects have been identified.

"I just want to tell you that in these times we have to unify. We have to come together and send one very clear, strong, unmistakable message that acts or threats of political violence of any kind have no place in the United States of America," Donald Trump said on Wednesday.
