Britney Spears will be looking for a new gig after this season of X Factor because she's getting the boot, according to Us.

The "Toxic" singer scored $15 million for one year as a mentor, however a source tells the mag that her low-energy demeanor and "half-claps" weren't worth the money.

A source adds: "Producers wanted her for the long haul, but it isn't working. They paid all that for her to say 'amazing' and offer half-claps."

Another source says show co-creator Simon Cowell "wanted crazy Britney, but he got boring Britney."


Fellow X Factor mentor L.A. Reid has already announced he will not be returning next season. In the past two seasons alone, numerous mentors have been fired including Paula Abdul, Cheryl Cole and Nicole Scherzinger.

X Factor wrapped its second season on December 20.

She may be a retired supermodel, but as far as we're concerned, Stephanie Seymour still knows how to work it!

The 44-year-old brunette beauty and her family were snapped on the beach in St. Barth the day after Christmas, and we're blown away by how amazing she looks. Seymour was also joined by daughter Lily, son Harry and her hubby Peter Brant, and when they weren't soaking up the sun, they were snorkeling and enjoying the warm waters of Saline Beach.

Kate Winslet and Ned Rocknroll tied the knot in a secret ceremony earlier this month, according to Us Magazine.

The two were first spotted together just over a year ago, and though a rep has yet to comment on the nuptials, a source tells the mag, "They were surrounded by a small group of friends and close family members."

The Oscar winner and Rocknroll, the nephew of Virgin billionaire Richard Branson, purchased a home in West Sussex, England in September, and an insider added, "Ned is really happy with Kate. He feels he can learn so much from her."

Rocknroll was previously married to British socialite Eliza Cowdray, and Winslet was previously married to director Jim Threapleton from 1998 to 2001 (the two have a daughter, Mia, 12) and director Sam Mendes from 2003 to 2010 (they are parents to son, Joe, 9).
