It's a boy for Twilight star Jackson Rathbone!

The actor and his girlfriend Sheila Hafsadi welcomed their first child together on Thursday, a baby boy named Monroe Jackson Rathbone VI, weighing in at 8 pounds, 11 ounces.

The 27-year-old met his burlesque dancer gf during a tour stop with his band 100 Monkeys, and he revealed to US mag after finding out his lady was preg:

"One of the greatest things I could expect to be in life is a father. I'm very excited!"

"I have one of the greatest dads in the world," he added. "He's just been giving me amazing advice ... Be prepared for lots of poop!"

Katy Perry may have been seen canoodling with Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd at Coachella this year, but the pair haven't made it official just yet!

Perry recently revealed to USA Today of their relationship: "That's not even appropriate to label. There are times I go out and meet people and flirt, but it's not really appropriate to have anything serious."

The "Teenage Dream" singer recently ended her 14-month marriage to Russell Brand, which is highlighted in her documentary, Katy Perry: Part of Me, and the pop star said of starting a new relationship: "For me, right now, I'm totally not looking. I'm just looking to heal. And I'm on that path."

"My fairy tale has absolutely changed," Perry added. "I don't need the Prince Charming to have my own happy ending. I can make the happy ending myself."

Jane Pitt, Brad's mom, has written an anti-gay letter to The Springfield News-Leader newspaper blasting President Obama for supporting same-sex marriage.

This controversial letter was printed only months after Pitt voiced his support for Obama and gay rights.

The letter was written in response to an article about Christians' rights to refuse to support Romney because he is a Mormon.

Jane Pitt's letter goes on to say that "any Christian who does not vote or writes in a name is casting a vote for Romney’s opponent, Barack Hussein Obama — a man who sat in Jeremiah Wright’s church for years, did not hold a public ceremony to mark the National Day of Prayer, and is a liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage."

At first, the newspaper was questioned regarding their claims that the article was written by Brad's mom. However, it was later verified that Jane Pitt did, indeed, pen the letter. The newspaper issued the following statement:

"To clear up earlier confusion, the News-Leader has verified the letter writer is the mother of actor Brad Pitt and local businessman Doug Pitt."

Both Brad and fiancee Angelina Jolie are major supporters of gay rights. During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Pitt told the audience, "I’ve said that we would not be getting married until everyone in this country had the right to get married."

As for the actor's views regarding his mom, he recently told The Hollywood Reporter, "She's very, very loving -- very open, genuine, and it's hilarious because she always gets painted in the tabloids as a she-devil. There's not an ounce of malice in her. She wants everyone to be happy."

The Moneyball star has yet to issue a statement regarding his mom's recent anti-gay letter.

Katie Holmes escorted her daughter Suri and a few friends to a children's museum in NYC this morning, and 33-year-old actress later took the shy 6-year-old to Alice's Tea Cup for lunch. It was announced today that Tom will file his own divorce documents, and his attorney took a swipe at Katie when he confirmed the news. “We are letting 'the other side' [Holmes and her legal team], play the media until they wear everyone out," Bert Fields told BBC. "Then we’ll have something to say."

Tom is going to have to pay a hefty amount of child support no matter what, but legal experts say it's not going to be easy for Katie to get sole custody of Suri. Then again, given that Katie has allegedly stated in her divorce papers that she doesn’t want Suri raised as a Scientologist, it might be easier for her to convince a judge that she has her daughter's best interests at heart...
