RiRi's mentor Jay-Z is helping with the music process by holding a writing camp to host the world's biggest producers, according to The Sun.

A source tells the site, "Sean Garrett, who Jay nicknamed “The Pen”, is over and so is producer Bangladesh, who has worked with Usher, Nicki Minaj and Beyonce.”

Also reportedly taking part in the camp ... Swedish House Mafia, Calvin Harris and Dr. Luke.

While cruising through Beverly Hills in his chauffeur-driven Rolls Royce, Simon Cowell was more than willing to pull over and chat with us about all the drama that's surrounding X Factor this season, and he definitely set the record straight!

The music mogul confessed that Britney Spears and Demi Lovato are "doing the best they can" as judges, revealing:

"I've worked with much harder. Honest to god they are doing the job we paid them to do, and they are doing a great job. They are both, albeit feverish, but we hired them for that. They are trying to find a star, and give constructive advice. They ought to be my mentor"

Cowell also revealed that Demi is a bit of a "brat," confessing: "She represents a younger audience and she's smart, but a bit of a brat. But I like brats." Though he had nothing but love for Britney, saying: "She's got amazing instincts, this girl. She could work for a record label; she knows how to spot a star. I am really impressed with her. She's smart, she knows what she's doing, and she wants to do a good job."

Simon added, "They've both been child stars. They want to find somebody else, and I'm very impressed with them."

The stunning star plays a prostitute in the upcoming film, and she nabbed an Oscar for her first collaboration with the famed director in 2008's Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

Cruz was definitely gushing over Allen at the premiere, telling reporters: "I would love to work with him 20 times. I'm fascinated by his personality. Even a day of press, which is not my favorite part of this job, he makes it so interesting and so fun," while Woody called her "one the great movie stars of the world."

Despite the drama surrounding his recent run-in with a photographer, Alec Baldwin was all smiles at the film's premiere, while he proudly showed off his new fiancee, Hilaria Thomas. The pair must be gearing up to tie the knot soon, because Baldwin was picking up his marriage license when the photog drama went down!

It's a boy for Nick Lachey And Vanessa Minillo Lachey!

The couple revealed on Wednesday that they were expecting a son, after the 31-year-old mom-to-be announced on her website:

"Nick and I are incredibly excited to share the news that we are expecting a baby boy. We can't wait to meet him soon!"

Vanessa's wish has been granted, because the former beauty queen revealed on Twitter in March after discovering she was preg: "I'm excited either way! But I always wanted a boy first. Just a healthy baby."

The happy couple, who wed in July 2011, recently returned from a babymoon at Jade Mountain in St. Lucia, where Nick shared a sexy Twitpic of his preg wife, who is due in September.

Vanessa Hudgens was snapped arriving at a meeting in Century City this afternoon, and the 23-year-old actress was later spotted leaving with her mom Gina.

We're not sure what the starlet was planning, but hopefully she's on her way to securing another juicy movie role! Vanessa wrapped production on Spring Breakers last month, and it sounds like she's leaving her squeaky clean Disney image in the dust.

Vanessa stars opposite Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine, and the flick follows a group of friends who head to Florida for spring break and rob a restaurant in order to finance their vacation.

"My character seems like the one who, even though she’s bad*ss and tough and hard, still has a sweet, fun side underneath it all. She's like a bubbling little girl, who is just so excited about everything," she told Glamour South Africa last month. "I feel as though that’s partly who I am: Under these deep, dark, and heavy characters I’m inside of myself just jumping for joy at the fun that I’m having."

Duff recently sat down with Bethenny Frankel to talk about the joys of gaining weight during pregnancy. “My whole life I’ve worked out and exercised and been in the public eye and always kind of watched what I ate," Duff told the newly minted talk show host. "[Pregnancy] was like a free pass and it was a blast!"

She did admit however that if and when she decides to have a second child with husband Mike Comrie, she would try to not to gain as much weight but doesn't harbor any regrets for her first time around.

"I wouldn't go back and change [this pregnancy] because I had a lot of fun," she added. We don't blame you girl!
