The Kardashians are not staying quiet regarding claims that they've been using Chinese sweatshops to manufacture products.

Jill Fritzo, the Kardashian's rep, issued the following statement:

"This is the first we are hearing about it and take it very seriously as we would never condone this. We are presently investigating the situation."

Star magazine is reporting that the family's successful clothing brand was created in foreign sweatshops using child labor. According to the report, the workers are as young as sixteen years old and are being abused and imprisoned against their will.

The Kardashians earned a reported $65 million last year.

Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey isn't hitting theaters for another year, but fans can start getting excited with the release of the movie's epic trailer.

The two-and-a-half minute clip features Ian McKellen who will be starring alongside Cate Blanchett, Elijah Wood and Orlando Bloom.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hits theaters on December 14, 2012 and the second part, The Hobbit: There and Back Again, will hit theaters in December 2013.

As for Lilo's nude and "classy" pictorial, Michael says:

"As far as I'm concerned it is a good move."

When asked if he thinks ex girlfriend Kate Major is expecting, Papa Lohan tells Dr. Drew:

"She was off the pill for like four or five days and of course we had sex. So there was a chance. From what I understand now, she says she's pregnant or she could be. Evidently she is taking the test so she thinks she might be."

Eva Hoeke, editor-in-chief of Jackie magazine, has stepped down from her position after the phrase "ultimate n***ab**ch" was printed in an article to describe Rihanna.

Following the magazine's release, Rihanna lashed out against Hoeke by Tweeting, "I hope u can read english, because your magazine is apoor representation of the evolution of human rights! I find you disrespectful, and rather desperate!!"

Hoeke had issued an apology ... stating that the reference to Rihanna was meant to be a joke. The use of the word "joke" didn't go over well.

Upon her resignation, Hoeke released the following

“I realize that my first reaction through Twitter, in which I indicated that it was a joke, has been an incomplete description of what me, and also the author of the article, meant. The term ‘n***ab**ch’ came from America, and we solely used it to describe a style of dress. Because of the enormous pressure through social media I was tempted to promise amendment regarding the language in future issues of Jackie. Apart from that I also offered an rectification. I have now come to the conclusion that rectification is not the right solution. I regret that I have taken a stand too quickly regarding an article in Jackie -- which moreover had no racial motive at its basis.

Through the course of events, me and the publisher have concluded that because my credibility is now affected, it is better for all parties if I quit my function as editor-in-chief effective immediately. After putting my heart and soul into for Jackie for eight years, I realize that these errors -- although not intented maliciously -- are enough reason for leaving.”

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony called it quits in July ... and at the time it seemed civilized, but now the two are at war due to JLo's new relationship with 24-year-old backup dancer Casper Smart, according to Us.

A source close to Lopez, 42, and Anthony, 43, tells the mag that the Latin crooner "hit the roof" after seeing photos of Smart playing in Hawaii over the Thanksgiving holiday with the couple's 3-year-old twins, Max and Emme.

"He wants to make Jennifer suffer because she's having fun with someone new, and he knows this will hurt her on the deepest level," the source adds.

Although the couple have already settle custody arrangements, Anthony may go "back on his word."
