Justin Bieber was photographed at the Empire State Building on Friday, and the 17-year-old singer smiled as he flipped a switch that turned on thousands of Christmas lights in NYC.

Bieber has been busy making the rounds to promote his new album, Under The Mistletoe, and yesterday he stopped by the Elvis Duran Morning Show to chat about everything going on in his life right now.

When asked about the Mariah Yeater baby mama drama, Justin replied, "Right now I'm focusing on my album and the music and the charity we're doing, and just being positive because Christmas is a time for joy and happiness - that's what I'm thinking. As far as the whole baby situation, it's unfortunate it had to happen like that and people make false accusations, but things happen in this industry and you just have to keep your head high and be positive. That's all I really have to say." Well put!

The other day Beyonce Knowles and her mom Tina were spotted leaving a meeting in NYC, and the Grammy winner may be six months pregnant, but you can't even tell!

Speaking of business, it was recently reported that Coldplay's Chris Martin originally wrote the song "Princess of China" for Beyonce, but she turned it down! "Well, I did write a song for Beyonce, but it got rejected by her A&R people," Chris revealed to Maxim magazine. Of course, Rihanna ended up taking B's place, and Chris seems pretty happy with the results, proclaiming that RiRi is the "greatest singer in the world." Hmm, wonder how B feels about that?

Jennifer Love Hewitt was spotted running errands in Beverly Hills on Friday, and the actress was looking a bit worse for wear! She skipped the makeup AND the hair, and while her face looks fine, she might have been better off covering up her busted locks with a hoodie!

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 earned a whopping $72 million on Friday, and it's on track to have the second-best domestic opening of 2011. But can it beat New Moon's $142.8 million debut in 2009, giving it the highest opening of any Twilight flick to date?

Breaking Dawn earned $30.3 million in midnight screenings alone (it now holds the number two spot for highest midnight numbers ever), and studio insiders and industry experts are predicting that the film will rake in $140 million this weekend.

Good news for all of you Adam Lambert lovers!

The American Idol alum will make an appearance at the American Music Awards this weekend, and while he won't be performing, he will be presenting an award. Back in 2009, the singer caused an uproar when he kissed bassist Tommy Joe Ratliff and simulated oral sex during his performance of "For Your Entertainment", but it looks like it wasn't such a big deal after all.

“Adam Lambert was never banned from the show,” American Music Awards executive producer Larry Klein tells THR. “That thing got so out of control and was just so out of left field ... We laugh about it to this day." So will Adam perform again in the future? “Adam Lambert is a friend of ours, he's talented and I like everything about him,” Klein said. "We’d absolutely have him back.”

No word on whether Adam will poke fun at the incident, but we'll see soon enough! The 39th annual American Music Awards air on Sunday at 8pm EST on ABC.

Britney Spears played a show in Sao Paulo, Brazil last night, and earlier we spotted the pop princess waving to fans and photographers from her hotel balcony. Britney tweeted, "I'm going to show my great fans in Sao Paulo my new hair that my mom just spent an hour curling! We are going to wave now...." Aww!

Britney's Femme Fatale tour wraps on December 10 in Puerto Rico, and she'll be celebrating her 30th birthday on December 2 in between shows in Mexico. Not a bad way to end 2011!

Eva Longoria and Eduardo Cruz were spotted arriving in Miami after taking a red eye from LAX, and despite online reports claiming Longoria is hooking up with Los Angeles Lakers star Matt Barnes, we think the proof lies in these photos!

A source close to the actress tells X17online exclusively:

"Eva's just friends with Matt. She's still totally into Eduardo. They've been together for a while now and he was there for her after her marriage to Tony fell apart. Eva's not looking for another baller — she wants someone stable."

Here's the trailer for Madonna’s second directorial effort, W.E., and while it's received mixed reviews after premiering at the Venice Film Festival, it does look rather intriguing!

The film focuses on two love stories -- one is the affair between King Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson, while the other follows a married woman who is in love with a Russian security guard. Abbie Cornish, James D'Arcy and Andrea Riseborough star in the motion picture, and it opens on December 9. Will you go check it out?
