To celebrate the 13th Annual Transgender Day of Remembrance, GLAAD published a guest blog post written by Kelly Osbourne, in which she apologizes for past remarks and offers support to the LGBT community.
Miss Osbourne was contacted by GLAAD via Twitter, after she used several anti-transgender words during a recent interview with Glamour UK.
After speaking with the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender media advocacy organization, Osbourne expressed:
“As a lifelong LGBT ally and friend, I feel it is my duty to not only apologize for my wrong but to also correct it. The word “tr*nny” is a derogatory and hurtful word. I was completely ignorant to this and soon came to realize most of my peers and LGBT friends are too. This is a word I will no longer use or allow."
Osbourne also urged people to observe Transgender Day of Remembrance on November 20, to honor “those who have lost their lives due to anti-transgender violence".

One day after Demi Moore announced that she's splitting from hubby Ashton Kutcher, the 33-year-old Two and a Half Men star is ironically gracing the cover of Men's Health.
The soon-to-be-divorced actor, who is accused of having an affair with 22-year-old Sara Leal, tells the mag:
"I'm relatively scared of failure. But I just don't see it as something that's inevitable."
Ashton also opens up about his strategy to keep a successful relationship. He adds:
"I think it’s all about working on the relationship and making it better...when it’s good. Don't wait for a problem to work on things. The goal is not to get into a relationship; the goal is to be in a relationship."
He goes on to say:
"I would just like a woman someday, somewhere, at some point in my life to say to me, 'You're a great listener.' Haven't heard it yet, and that's a superior compliment to get from a woman. But I'm going to work on it."

Fresh from wrapping up a performance abroad on Thursday, Lady Gaga released a preview of the prologue to her upcoming "Marry the Night" video!
The Lady Tweeted Thursday afternoon: "MARRY THE NIGHT: THE PRELUDE PATHÉTIQUE," with a link to a teaser for the full-length clip for her latest Born This Way track.
The two minute Gaga-directed teaser features the singer in a mental institution, and the entire sequence is dubbed over by the singer, narrating:
"When I look back on my life, it's not that I don't want to see things exactly as they happened, it's just that I prefer to remember them in an artistic way. Clinical psychology tells us, arguably, that trauma is the ultimate killer. Memories are not recycled like atoms and particles in quantum psychics, they can be lost forever. It’s sort of like my past is an unfinished painting, and as the artist of that painting, I must fill in all the ugly holes and make it beautiful again."
The upcoming music video is said to be the "Judas" singer's longest yet, and while the release date for the video is still unknown, the singer let fans know: "The full prelude is 7 min 33 seconds & 15 frames."
"Marry the Night" is a tribute to NYC, Gaga's hometown.

Paula Abdul and fellow X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger hit up The Grove in LA to tape a segment for Extra, and the lovely ladies were happy to greet their fans.
While Nicole kept it simple in a black leather dress, Paula got a bit racy with a gown that had a slit way up her thigh. You go, girl!
Also on hand ... judges Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid. But when you show up with two sexy women, the guys obviously take a backseat. Sorry, Simon.

While in Albuquerque, N.M., filming The Last Stand -- his first starring role since stepping down as California's governor -- Arnold Schwarzenegger sustained a nasty head injury, on Friday.
Schwarzenegger proudly shared a TwitPic of his battle wound, with the caption:
"Got a little banged up on set today. Thanks to the medical staff who got me back in action an hour later!"
The Terminator star didn't reveal how the accident happened, but production was temporary halted on the film so that on-set medics could treat the injury.

It's no secret that lovebirds Christina Aguilera and Matt Rutler love Osteria Mozza pizzeria in LA.
With her arm around Rutler, Xtina strutted out of the eatery wearing a Rolling Stones tee, black leather jacket, leggings and sexy red heels. The Burlesque actress is so serious ... hope everything is ok with these two.
The Voice mentor seems to have smoothed out her blonde locks, and as always, is rockin' those red lips!

She's ready to become a mamma!
In an in-depth interview with More magazine, Queen Latifah opens up on the devastating loss of her brother, and reveals plans to expand her family in 2012.
The hip-hop-star-turned-actress lost her brother in a 1992 motorcycle crash at the age of 24, which changed her life forever.
"I think the most important thing I've learned is to not stop living. I know for a fact that my brother would not want me to stay right there, stuck in that misery. There's no way they would not want you to live your life to the maximum, to appreciate it, to go for your dreams, go for your goals."
Latifah adds that one of her goals is to become a mother.
"I'm definitely going to adopt - or have - a child. I've wanted to adopt since I was 17 or 18-years-old."
The Cover Girl spokes-model, who usually stays mum on her personal life, did not reveal if she plans to adopt with a partner.

Regis Philbin has finally said farewell to Live! With Regis and Kelly after 28 years on the air.
With his co-host of 11 years Kelly Ripa sitting next to him, Philbin said:
"For 28 years, millions of viewers have had the great fortune of starting their day with you. For 11 years, I have had the great fortune of starting my day sitting next to you. You took this soap actress and plopped her behind a desk and made her your partner in crime. My life is forever changed."
In response, Kelly told Regis, "I look forward to your next steps and hope they fill you with the joy you've filled all of us with all these years."
For his final words before the show ended, the 80-year-old host said the following to the audience:
"This was the last chance I had in this business: To make it here in New York. I guess it was fate that it happened this way. I'll never be able to answer all the letters and messages that have poured in but I'll always remember spending these mornings with all of you. God bless you all and I hope I see you again real soon."
