Rooney Mara covers the November issue of Vogue Magazine, and the star of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo chats about her dramatic transformation into Lisabeth Salander, how she handled the film's brutal rape scene and she even slams one of her first big roles.

When it came to completing her look, Mara reveals that she had ALL of the body piercings done on the same day. "I went in looking like Erica Albright and I came out like this ... The eyebrows were the biggest shock because that really changed my face, and I didn’t recognize myself.” And the body modification didn't stop there! Mara had to stay super thin for the role, and she noted, “One of the things that make our version that much more heartbreaking is that even though I am playing a 24-year-old, I look much younger. I look like a child.” When asked if she had to get unhealthily skinny for the role, she says, “Umm ... not really.” Director David Fincher (who accompanied her for parts of the interview) quickly added, “It hasn’t been too hard for her."

The writer for Vogue commented on the relationship between the young starlet and Fincher, describing it as one that is "charged with the electric current of the mentor-protegee crush, which is both touching and occasionally uncomfortable to watch." Daniel Craig (who plays Mikael Blomkvist in the film), says of the interaction between the two, “It’s f***ing weird!” Fincher auditioned everyone from Scarlett Johansson to unknown actresses from New Zealand, so it's interesting that he went with Mara, who worked with him on 2010's The Social Network.

When asked about the film's controversial rape scene, Mara admits it was a bit traumatizing. “I don’t know how to describe it. I think, physically, it was hardest," she says. "I got really beat up. But I gave myself a few days and then I was fine.”

Joe Jonas greeted fans and photographers outside of his hotel in Stockholm, Sweden on Sunday, and the middle JoBro tweeted, "What a great show here with @britneyspears in Sweden! Thank you for your warm welcome. I cant wait to come back already."

Joe is opening ten of Britney's European concert dates, and he's currently on his way to Cologne, Germany to continue his tour with the pop princess. As you know, Joe is promoting his first solo studio album "Fastlife", and he previously hit the road with R&B star Jay Sean for a few shows earlier this fall.

Over the weekend Eric Dane and wife Rebecca Gayheart took their darling daughter Billie to Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in West Hollywood, and we also got a peek at the starlet's bulging baby bump.

When asked about the gender of their second child, Eric recently responded to a photographer, “Probably going to be another girl – with my luck.” Ouch! What's wrong with two beautiful girls?

David Arquette is all about fitness as a Dancing With The Stars contestant!

He rode his bike to and from rehearsal on Sunday, where David and partner Kym Johnson, along with the other contestants, practiced for this week's '80s theme!

Kelly Osbourne is not backing down when it comes to her crusade against Christina Aguilera.

A few months ago, Osbourne, 26, called Aguilera, 30, a "fat b****" on E!'s Fashion Police. Over the weekend, Police co-host George Kotsiopoulous defended Aguilera's weight gain, saying she is "still probably a size 2/4" despite her poor outfit choice.

But Osbourne fired back, saying, "Trust me. I'm a 2/4. That is not a 2/4. ... She called me fat for years. I was never that fat."

Aguilera has faced criticism for her weight gain in recent months. Below is a picture of her in September with son Max.

Adam Lambert covers the November issue of The Advocate, and the 29-year-old pop star chats about everything from his controversial performance at the 2009 American Music Awards to his boyfriend Sauli Koskinen.

On his love life, Adam doesn't reveal too much, but he tells the mag that he met Sauli in a Helsinki bar after a concert, and they've been dating since last November. “You know, honestly, when you start talking so much about your relationship, it opens the door too much," he says. "I’ve only been in one major long-term relationship prior to this, and I’m really, really happy. It’s done a lot for me, and it’s grounded me, and it has inspired me as a writer as a performer. I just think everybody wants that connection, and I’m really happy to have found it.”

On his raunchy performance at the AMAs where simulated oral sex with a male backup dancer, Adam says, “[It was] a bit reactionary on my part. I think I was a little overwhelmed with everything. It was me reacting a little bit to that ‘you’re not gay enough’ thing. At that moment for whatever reason I was like, Well, is this gay enough? It was me being a little bit p*ssed off!”

“It’s been the weirdest battle with identifying as a gay man in mainstream culture,” he continues. “I think The Advocate is an exception — I think a respected gay publication treats it differently — but in regular journalism they make such a big deal out of homosexuality! I’m starting to grow really fond of the post-gay concept.”

So has he embraced his new lifestyle since shooting to stardom on American Idol? “It really is a dream job, and it’s really cool. I do stop and keep it all in perspective. This is pop music, and it’s not f***ing brain surgery. I mean, some of it’s serious…but some of it’s just really fun dance music. And I’m wearing eight pounds of makeup because I f***ing want to. Why not?” Loves it!

Denise Richards

Denise Richards announced that she'd adopted new baby girl Eloise in June, and now the actress is revealing the thought process behind her decision.

She explains on her new blog that she started the process two years ago, saying:

"I had always wanted to adopt and had always wanted more children. I needed to make a decision: Do I wait for the right partner or move ahead with my life and do it on my own? I decided to do it on my own."

Richards already had daughters Sam and Lola from her marriage to Charlie Sheen. She recalls that the two-year process was rough. " ... there were many times during that I felt discouraged," she says. "But I always had faith that the right baby would find us (my daughters and me)."

Christmas is still over two months away, but Justin Bieber couldn't wait to debut his new holiday track "Mistletoe."

While appearing on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show, Biebs gave his fans what they've been waiting for, and ironically, the tune sounds very similar to Jason Mraz's hit song "I'm Yours." Just sayin'.

Justin tells Ryan:

“We’re trying to focus on the Christmas album and get people in the holiday spirit. All the songs have something to do with a little bit of mistletoe and having a special person in your life on Christmas.”

Mistletoe is the first single off the 17-year-old singer's Christmas album Under The Mistletoe ... which will feature collaborations with Boyz II Men, Usher, The Band Perry and Mariah Carey. The album drops on November 1.

Bieber and Seacrest will be hanging out together in NYC's Times Square for Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve. We can't wait!
