Katie Holmes has the unfortunate character title of "Slutty Pumpkin" for her upcoming guest appearance on How I Met Your Mother set to air this Halloween.

Mrs. Tom Cruise dons a pumpkin costume to play the as-yet-unseen character that's been referenced during the CBS comedy's first six seasons.

Here we have a first look at Katie in the role and surprise! Her pumpkin doesn't look that slutty!

So the plot goes something like this ... Katie Slutty Pumpkin meet Ted (Josh Radnor) during the first season's Halloween party but have since lost touch. Ted has been dreaming of his orange goddess every since and this October 31, the two will finally reunite!

The series co-creator, Craig Thomas, told New York Magazine's Vulture blog, the cast was super excited to work with Holmes: "Katie is a lovely and talented actress, which is why we've saved for her, perhaps the most classily-named character in our show's history."

Glowing mommy-to-be Hilary Duff stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote her new book, 'Devoted', and she also revealed a big surprise: she's having a boy!

The Beauty and the Briefcase star, who is four months along, announced the baby's sex for the first time on Ellen, revealing:

"I wanted to tell you first, I just found out. It’s a boy! I had feeling it was a boy the whole time."

Duff also spilled the deets on how she told her hockey pro hubby, Mike Comrie, the big baby news.

"My husband makes this joke that I think I’m pregnant like 12 times a year. Every since we got married, he’s like, you always think this blah, blah, blah. So when it actually happened he was in the shower. I think sometimes when you imagine it you think you’re going to do it in some cute way….I just ran in and he was in the shower and I just held up the test and I was like, oh my god. And he was like AHH! He was soaking wet. We were just like a mess and started crying. It was really exciting."

Once the actress wraps up her book tour, she's going to enjoy some major R&R until the baby's due in March.

Formal talks have yet to take place, but with his family settled in LA, Beckham may want to remain on the West Coast.

Becks will officially announce his decision in November, once the Major League Soccer season ends.

The Desperate Housewives star got her locks touched up in preparation for an Obama fundraising gala she's co-hosting with Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith at their home in LA on Oct. 24.

The party is intended to help draw support from Latinos, who comprise the second-largest population group in the country, according to the U.S. Census. Longoria, Banderas and Griffith have all been avid supports of the President since he ran in 2008.

Tickets for the fundraising event to support Obama's candidacy will set you back between $5,000 and $38,000 -- small price to pay for a chance to hang out at the Banderas-Griffith mansion for a night!

Upon arriving in Seattle after four years in an Italian prison, Amanda Knox is just trying to get back to a normal life, and that includes frequent trips to her local Starbucks.

The newly-freed Knox is eager to reunite with her former boyfriend and co-defendant, Raffaele Sollecito, 27, who was also acquitted of murder charges. The two reportedly shared one final moment together before they went free.

Knox’s father, Curt Knox, revealed to ABC News: "The only time they really got to talk was after the verdict, when they were getting ready to be whisked away in the cars. They actually went back to the prison in the same car. They hold something in common that very, very few people have ever had to deal with.”

Amanda's dad also revealed, “An offer was extended to the Sollecito family to come to Seattle, and whether they take us up on that or not is really too early to tell."

As of now, the newly-freed 24-year-old is just trying to reconnect with friends and family in Seattle.
