Cheryl Cole made her homeland proud at the Pride of Britain awards Monday night!
The 28-year-old singer stunned in a pale pink dress from fellow Brit Victoria Beckham's line. She Tweeted before the soiree: "How can I still be nervous about red carpets after 10 years.. Eeek!"
At the London celebration, a video of Cole's time with troops in Afghanistan was shown. Her ex, Derek Hough (they dated from June 2010 to May of this year), Tweeted well wishes to her, saying, "Look forward to seeing @Cherylcole visit the troops tonight for pride of Britain . Good luck Dimples x"
Derek is now reportedly dating Lauren Conrad, but he and Cheryl are clearly on good terms!

Dr. Conrad Murray's girlfriend took the stand Tuesday, and the aspiring actress was nothing but animated smiles in the middle of the involuntary manslaughter trial.
Nicole Alvarez, 29, met Murray in Las Vegas in 2005 and the two have a young son together. She was introduced to Jackson in 2008 and admitted that at the time, "I was speechless."
On the day of Jackson's death, Murray called Nicole four times, including one call from the ambulance on the way to the hospital.
The prosecution asked Alvarez about Murray's $150,000/month salary, which she claimed she didn't know about despite previous testimony to the contrary.
Murray's baby mama did admit that the physician would leave at 9 p.m. nightly during the month before Jackson died, helping him prepare for his upcoming tour. She also said she signed for packages from April through June that contained Propofol, but she did not know what was inside as she never opened them.

Ever since Vanessa Hudgens cut off her long locks, her style has been quite questionable. We get the hippy chic, but the oversize flannel and hood ... not so much.
VHudge, who's been stepping out quite a bit lately with her look-a-like younger sis, enjoyed a late-night solo bike ride through her Toluca Lake neighborhood.
What happened to the stylish High School Musical star we used to know and love? Guess her grown-up style is a bit more relaxed ... to say the least.
Good thing the Frozen Ground star rocked short jean shorts the other day. We'll keep that sexy visual in our minds.

Jessica Simpson is enjoying all pregnancy has to offer including her favorite Lone Star State-inspired craving ... Texas Fried Steak!
The mommy-to-be and fiance Eric Johnson hit up BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse in Century City just after 1pm on Monday with a friend ... and the restaurant tells X17online exclusively that Jessica was in "a great mood" while eating the fried entree.
After grubbing down her favorite meal, the threesome chowed down on BJ's signature dessert, Pizzooki ... two scoops of ice cream on a big and warm chocolate chip cookie.
We're told their bill was $70 ... and they left a $22 tip. Pretty generous!
There's been much speculation that Jess and Eric will be making the big announcement later this month. Too bad their wedding is on hold for now, but a new addition to the family is a pretty good reason to hold off the nuptials. Simpson rep has yet to confirm the pregnancy news.
We gotta say, Jess looks awfully comfy in that oversized sweatshirt!

NBC has canceled its controversial series The Playboy Club.
The retro show starred Eddie Cibrian and Amber Heard.
The show garnered just 3.4 million viewers on Monday night.
It got off to a slow start with its Sept. 19 premiere -- prior to which The Parents Television Council and other groups had spoken out against its sexual content.
But, in good news for new shows, the network has picked up comedies Whitney and Up All Night for full seasons.

Well, at least she's not yet another actress-turned-musician.
Kat Von D is putting her tattoo gun aside to begin recording her first album. Didn't think she was into music? Think again. The LA Ink star told E! News:
"I've been passionate about music all my life. I've been playing classical piano since I was six. So I understand the form, but it will be fun to be able to translate a message."
Jesse James' ex is known for juggling tons of projects at once -- she's already a tattoo artist, shop owner, fashion and makeup designer, and writer -- so adding an album to the mix shouldn't be tough. "I think it's much like tattooing or the TV show or makeup, my clothing line, fashion," she explained. "All those things, they're just different outlets to be able to be creative. So music, I think it's going to be one of those things."
Kat already had one song penned for her, Eagles of Death Metal's 2007 tune "High Voltage," but we can't wait to what the tattoo artist will do herself!

Week 3's theme on DWTS was "The Most Memorable Year Of My Life," and emotions ran high.
Rob Kardashian dedicated his performance (above) to his late father, Robert Kardashian, who died of cancer in 2003, when Rob was just 15. Sister Kim Kardashian and a tearful Kris Jenner were in the audience.
“I feel like my dad’s with me tonight," Rob said. "It [the dance] was a celebration of his life."
Kim Tweeted later, "You definitely made dad proud tonight @RobKardashian You are just like him!"
But the waterworks didn't stop there. Next, David Arquette opened up about the collapse of his marriage to Courteney Cox (right), who was in the audience with daughter Coco. David dedicated his dance to Coco, calling her "magnificent."
Iraq War veteran J.R. Martinez and partner Karina Smirnoff brought the house down with a dance to Tim McGraw's "If You're Reading This," a song about wives who lose their husbands in war. At the end, Martinez was crying.
