Jessica Alba and hubby Cash Warren took daughter Honor to a pal's birthday party in Beverly Hills on Saturday, where little Honor got a rock star makeover (see the "before" pic below)!

Honor, 3, left the party with a newly glittered forehead and an Elmo cupcake in hand.

Chateau Marmont is usually a nighttime celeb hotspot, but Paris Hilton always dares to be different!

The star and sister Nicky did lunch at the hotel's restaurant on Saturday, and both looked gorgeous!

Paris Tweeted, "Had a lovely brunch today at The Chateau Marmont with @NickyHilton and my business partner Robbie Antonio."

Charlie Sheen may have missed the deadline to submit himself for an Emmy this year -- twice (the submission period was during that little breakdown of his), but he will not be absent from the show.

According to Deadline, Sheen will be making a surprise appearance at the awards show, which airs Sunday night at 8 p.m. ET, 5 p.m. PT on Fox.

Word around pre-Emmys parties in Hollywood was that Sheen will be a presenter. The stint would be a good marketing opportunity for Sheen, who in recent days has hit the talk show circuit to promote his Comedy Central roast, which airs Monday night (the same night Two And A Half Men premieres.)

Demi Lovato is really working on her hip hop cred!

The 19-year-old singer/actress has duets with Missy Elliott and Timbaland on her upcoming album, Unbroken (available Tuesday), and now she's taking her talents to the stage!

Lovato covered Lil Wayne's smash hit "How to Love" at her show at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom last night -- and fans went crazy (even when Demi forgot some of the lyrics!) Watch above.

Demi also posted a new video message to her fans about how much she loves them (get it??). In the vid, called "A Letter To My Fans," she credits them for helping her through her recent tough times. Says Lovato:

"Last year everything stopped and for the next three months I woke up in a treatment center every day, away from my family and friends. ... I thought about the sadness that I felt, the pain that I was in and the addictions that I was struggling from."

Reports surfaced Thursday that (from left to right, above) Cindy Barshop, Kelly Bensimon and Jill Zarin, along with Alex McCord (below) -- four of the seven members of Bravo's The Real Housewives of New York cast -- were being fired from the show.

Now, the network has officially confirmed the rumors.

Zarin and McCord were original cast members. Bensimon joined in season two, Barshop in season four (the most recent season).

The network's statement:

"Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan and LuAnn DeLesseps will be returning for season 5 of The Real Housewives of New York City. We've had a fabulous run with all the ladies and appreciate them sharing their lives with our viewers. It is a friendly departure among the other ladies and we continue to have on-going discussions with them."

McCord (right) started a Facebook campaign last week to keep herself on the show -- clearly, it didn't work. She Tweeted on Saturday, " ... a decision has been reached. @SimonvanKempen & I are leaving #RHONY, sadly but amicably."

Said Zarin: "When one door closes..another one opens."

According to our X17online.com poll, 23 percent of our readers said they would not watch the show without the departing cast members, while 36 percent said Bravo made the right decision because the show needs some fresh faces.

X17 caught up with John Mayer on Saturday in Beverly Hills, only hours after the singer announced he had to cancel concerts and push back his upcoming album due to a throat condition.

Mayer wrote on his blog that he has developed nodules on his vocal cords -- a condition he's been keeping secret for months. The nodules, also called granulomas, can become quite serious.

The singer was scheduled to perform at the iheartradio Music Festival in Las Vegas next week and with Tony Bennett in LA. In addition, his new album, Born and Raised, has been pushed back to a 2012 release instead of this fall. Said Mayer:

"‘Born and Raised’ is complete as far as music recording, song selection, and in some cases mixing, but because of this condition I couldn’t finish singing on several of the tracks."

Mayer says he isn't sure how long he'll be out of commission, but while he's vocally benched, he'll be in New York working on new songs.

Miley Cyrus was spotted leaving a pal's house in Pasadena on Friday, and the 18-year-old starlet flashed X17 photogs a quick smile before hopping into her Mercedes. After wrapping up her Gypsy Heart Tour back in July, Miley hasn't had that much on her plate lately, but with So Undercover hitting theaters next month, it looks like she's going to be back on the road promoting her new flick. We can't wait to see it!
