Demi Lovato recently sat down with Ellen DeGeneres, and not only did she perform her hit single "Skyscraper", but she candidly discussed her trip to rehab and gave a message to other young girls struggling with eating disorders.

On her "meltdown":

"It was called a mess. I don’t know what to really call it but yeah, I’ve called it a break down, a melt down. I went from being at the highlight of my career. Having a movie about to come out or just come out and being on this tour. Having so much success. So many things were going great in my life and then all of the sudden my personal life just went down at crazy speeds. I had a negative break down and it changed my life forever but I’m glad that it did because if I had never gone into the treatment. I don’t know if one, I’d even be sitting here today. Two, if I’d be alive today."

Demi's advice to young girls battling weight issues:

"One of thereasons why I became so out spoken when I decided to come out of treatment and talk about my issues was because when I grew up and I was dealing with the pressures to be thin. It was the time in the tabloids when very, very skinny girls were on the cover of every magazine and that’s what I was looking up to. That’s what I had to idolize. I don’t want that for young girls to idolize ... There was nobody out there for me to look at and say, maybe this is unhealthy. Maybe starving myself isn’t the answer. So I want to be that for a 13-year-old girl at home deciding whether or not to eat dinner or an 18-year-old deciding whether or not to keep her breakfast down. There needs to be a role model out there and for the first time in my life I actually feel like one."

Yesterday Katie Holmes was spotted running errands in Beverly Hills with her darling daughter Suri, and a little bit later Katie's driver was pulled over for talking on his cell phone. Oops!

So was Katie able to work any magic with the cops? Yup! It turns out her driver just received a warning, so it looks like having a famous face riding in the passenger seat definitely worked to his advantage.

Yesterday George Clooney was spotted shooting a commercial for Mercedes-Benz at Villa Blanca in Beverly Hills, and the silver fox waved to photographers and made a few faces when we caught him outside the swanky restaurant.

So when will we get to see his ad? It'll air in China, so it looks like YouTube is going to be our best bet!

Well this is a bold look, but Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's oldest daughter Violet definitely pulls it off!

Yesterday we spotted the 5-year-old walking around Beverly Hills with her nanny, and it looks like she's taking a break from the girly pink outfits we usually see her wearing. Maybe mom's finally letting Miss V dress herself? Either way, we love it!

Demi Moore was spotted driving around Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon, and even though the 48-year-old actress was wearing minimal makeup, she still looked better than most of the starlets half her age!

Hmm, maybe that's why she can get away with tweeting revealing photos of herself on Twitter?

Ryan Gosling was snapped on the set of Gangster Squad in Los Angeles yesterday, and the handsome actor looked right at home as he fiddled around with a vintage pistol during a break from shooting.

The film also stars Sean Penn, Josh Brolin and Emma Stone, and it follows LAPD's fight to keep gangsters out of Los Angeles in the 1940s and 50s. Gosling plays Sgt. Jerry Wooters, and the flick is set to hit theaters in 2013. Sigh ... such a long wait!

Following a series of bizarre, disturbing Tweets, Nicolas Cage's troubled son, 20-year-old Weston Cage, appears to be headed to rehab once again.

A source tells X17online that Nicolas went to a West Hollywood sober living facility this afternoon, to admit his son. The home is luxury halfway house called KLEAN, but it is NOT a full rehabilitation center (see a gallery of the facility below).

In the drug-fueled rant, Weston writes, "Came to a little while ago. Doc didn't put me to sleep. Gave me local anesthesia. Got a prescript. Was outta my mind on pain killers."

Requests to Nicolas Cage's reps for a comment on the story have not yet been returned.

Weston has a very troubled past, including multiple run-ins with the law and problems with drugs and alcohol.

Most recently, Weston checked into rehab after getting arrested on a felony domestic violence charge in July. According to his mother Christina Fulton's rep, he was to be in rehab for thirty days.

Then in late August, Weston's wife Nikki changed her Facebook status from "Married" to "It's Complicated" and wrote:

“My husband is going back to rehab.This is so hard for me. Please pray for him so that he will see the light and be the man that I fell in love with again. Alcoholism is an ugly disease. It breaks my heart to see him this way, but a woman can only take so much. I hope he makes the right choice and stays sober not only for me, but most importantly for himself! I don’t want him to die.”

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have been enjoying their time together in New York.

Aside from romantic lunches and shopping trips to Bloomingdale's on 59th Street, the duo are also spending time, hand-in-hand, cruising the NYC streets.

We're loving their coordinated outfits ... black jackets, jeans and black shoes. And we can't forget about the his and hers aviator shades. Jen, 42, and Justin, 40, were obviously meant for each other!

After Brad Pitt's recent comments about his marriage to Aniston, the Friends star could definitely use a shoulder to lean on. Even though Pitt attempted to clarify his thoughts, you know it still must have hurt his ex.

Check out Jen's ring finger! Even though it's just her favorite gold band, perhaps Justin will soon be giving his ladylove the official engagement bling she's been waiting for.
