Apparently this look is no shtick - John Mayer is channeling Johnny Depp for the long haul.

The singer sported a denim jacket, feather pendant, cobalt scarf, gray jeans and yet another Indiana Jones-like brimmed hat - to dinner with friends at Katsuya in Hollywood Thursday night.

Maybe the boho look is inspiring his next album ... Jack Sparrow is a wonderland?!

Taylor Swift has been hard at work all summer on the U.S. leg of her Speak Now tour, so when the singer finally got a mini-break, she grabbed some friends and treated them to an impromptu getaway!

Fortunately for us, Miss Swift shared all of the intimate photos from her girls-only trip via her blog, and they're gorgeous.

Swift said of the trip:

"We've been on the Speak Now Tour since February, and it occurred to me a few weeks ago that it would be so incredible to take a mini-vacation! I found a three day window in August and invited all the girls you see onstage (one fiddle player, one backup singer, two dancers, three aerialists) to go with me to one of the places on my list: Charleston, South Carolina."

The Speak Now singer and her friends spent time at the beach and aboard a yacht Swift chartered for the trip. The girls also enjoyed checking out the yummy restaurants in the historic and upmarket seaside community.

Swift is currently in LA continuing her tour, which lasts through the end of November. The busy singer will then hit the road again in Australia and New Zealand in March.

Salma Hayek made her way through LAX with hubby Francois-Henri Pinault and 3-year-old daughter Valentina Thursday afternoon en route to Pinault's home country of France, where the trio arrived on Friday.

Valentina was absolutely precious in her printed top, white pants, silver sandals and pink backpack, making faces as mom held on tightly to her hand. Once the tired fam finally got to Roissy Airport in Paris, Salma's little girl got an outfit change. Mom, however, stayed in her classy black and white ensemble for the overseas trip.

The trio was joined by Pinault's two other children, daughter Mathilde and son Francois.

Rumors have been swirling about the upcoming tribute to the late Amy Winehouse during this Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, and now her father, Mitch Winehouse, has just confirmed the news.

Lady GaGa, Tony Bennett, and Adele will all take part in a special performance of Body and Soul, which was Winehouse's last recording.

Amy's father announced on Friday:

“Our family is honoured that the VMAs are giving Amy this wonderful tribute. We know that Amy’s performance of Rehab at the MTV Movie Awards played an important part in Amy’s worldwide success.”

The Body and Soul track will also be featured as the first single from Bennett's upcoming album, Duets: An American Classic, which is set to be released Sept. 14th. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

Rihanna has just released the music video for her latest single, Cheers (Drink To That), and it's hot!

The sexy songstress actually shot some of the footage for the video herself during her tour stop in Kensington Oval, Barbados on August 5.

The video features a behind the scenes look at concert and backstage shots from Riri's Loud tour, and includes cameos by Avril Lavigne (Rihanna samples I’m With You in the song), Cee Lo Green, Kanye West and Jay-Z.

Rihanna just wrapped the European leg of her tour, and will return to the stage on Sept. 17, when the Loud tour kicks off again in South America.

Minka Kelly and Derek Jeter have ended their relationship after three years together, their reps confirmed, on Friday.

The Charlie's Angels actress hinted at signs of trouble with the Yankees shortstop when she told GQ mag in January: "I promise you, I'm not getting married in the next month."

Jeter became the first Yankee to reach 3,000 hits last month, and Kelly was spotted in the luxury suite, cheering him on. But now that Kelly is hard at work on the Charlie's Angels revival series in Miami, distance may have played a key role in the split.

"They care about each other. They're still friends," a source close to the couple stated this week.

The Friday Night Lights star appeared in the documentary Derek Jeter 3K, which premiered on HBO last month.

Trey Smith had a Twitter imposter, but Justin Bieber's account is very real. So he's coming to the Smith family's defense in the middle of Will and Jada divorce rumors.

Will and Jada's son Jaden Smith is one of Justin's best friends - he even appeared in the Biebs' 3D movie Never Say Never - and their daughter Willow Smith went on tour with the "Baby" singer.

So it's no surprise that Justin took to Twitter Thursday to defend the people he considers his second family. He wrote:

"Will and Jada are one of the best couples ever. #FACT #real."

Jaden and Willow may not be his real little brother and sister, but Justin always comes to their aid! Now that's a good faux-sibling.
