Charlie Sheen is the subject of an upcoming roast on Comedy Central, and in the actor's words, "It's going to be epic."

Sheen tells The Hollywood Reporter:

"You could say I've been providing kindling for this roast for a while."

The roast, taping on September 10, will be produced by Tenth Planet Productions. This is the same company that produced roasts for Pam Anderson, Donald Trump, Joan Rivers and David Hasselhoff.

Comedy Central will air the Charlie Sheen roast on September 19. Ashton Kutcher will make his debut on Two and A Half Men on the same night. Let the ratings war begin!

Lindsay Lohan chose a classically American activity for the fourth of July: she hit the beach! Lohan headed to Malibu for private parties to celebrate the holiday.

We love that A listers hang out with each other like normal people! Tom Hanks and Jim Carrey spent July 4 together at a Malibu home; the two funnymen chatted while Hanks' wife Rita Wilson carried on an animated conversation of her own.

Hanks and Carrey both have movies in theaters right now -- but both have been box office disappointments. Mr. Popper's Penguins and Larry Crowne, which Hanks co-wrote, directed and starred in, were both considered flops in terms of reviews and ticket sales.

Ouch! Hopefully they at least enjoyed the holiday together!

Justin Timberlake has big plans for Myspace ... and his manager, Johnny Wright, is ready to dish the deets.

Wright tells the Hollywood Reporter:

"We want to bring the industry back to Myspace to really look at the talented people that have put their faces there. Whether it becomes a talent competition or something like that, those are things that we will still flesh out. We definitely want to bring the industry back to Myspace to really look at the talented people that have put their faces there."

Timberlake and Wright are planning to unveil their plans for Myspace at a press conference on August 17.

Reese Witherspoon and her family enjoyed the holiday weekend in Malibu, but thanks to the ocean breeze, we were able to catch a glimpse of the 35-year-old star's stomach tattoo.

Jim Toth's wifey used to have a tattoo of a blue star in the area, but it appears that she transformed her old ink into a something a bit bigger.

Over the weekend, Reese kept her tummy completely covered with a black one piece swimsuit. Who knew Ms. Witherspoon had such a rebellious type of tattoo? We're lovin' this sexy side of the Southern belle.

Justin Bieber's popularity -- 10 million Twitter followers, hit songs, a hit movie -- is apparently not carrying over to newsstands.

Vanity Fair's February issue, which featured 17-year-old Bieber on the cover covered in lipstick kisses, is on its way to being the magazine's worst selling issue in 12 years (see the cover after the jump). It's sold only an estimated 246,000 copies.

For comparison, the magazine's August 2010 issue with Angelina Jolie on the cover sold more than 500,000 copies.

Bieber also has meant bad news for other mags -- his October 2010 Teen Vogue cover sold 121,054, which is about 12 percent below the mag's 2010 average. People magazine's April 2010 Bieber cover sold 961,762 copies -- the weekly's third worst seller that year.

The question becomes whether Bieber is the problem, or whether the issue is that the younger generation doesn't buy magazines in general.

Maria Shriver is reportedly being offered an excess of $15 million for a tell-all book about her life ... and the drama surrounding her failed marriage to Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Shriver is already a best-selling author of two books: And One More Thing Before You Go … and What’s Happening to Grandpa?

Schwarzenegger's estranged wife has yet to confirm whether she will accept the alleged offers. Various online reports suggest the book deal will not move forward until the couple finalize their divorce.

Shriver's camp, so far, has not commented.

James Rainford, a man who has previously been arrested for stalking Paris Hilton, has been taken into custody once again outside her two-story Malibu beach house.

According to deputies on the scene, Rainford, 36, was seen looking inside the windows of the heiress' Malibu pad. Cops were called and he was cuffed and taken into custody on Monday at around 4:30pm.

The L.A. County Sheriff's Department released a statement saying there was "a suspicious person standing on the beach." We're told authorities were able to determine there's a "valid order prohibiting him from being within 200 yards of Miss Hilton or her residence was in effect."

Rainford pleaded no contest to battery charges in April after assaulting Hilton's ex boyfriend Cy Waits outside an LA courthouse. He served only 24 days of his 227 day sentence.

Earlier this year, Rainford was charged with trespassing at Hilton's Hollywood Hills home and pleaded no contest. At that time, he was ordered to stay 200 yards away from Hilton's home and was given three years probation.

Rainford is currently being held on $20,000 bail.
