Michael Lohan continues to defend himself against abuse claims made by his ex Kate Major. Lindsay's dad now says Kate reached out to Dina for support.

Papa Lohan tells X17online exclusively:

"Lindsay and Dina are creeped out by Kate's efforts to get on their good side and causing a division among us, by putting out negative things and making up things about me. Meanwhile, selling stories and documents is her only means of income because I am not there to support her. Ask Dina and or Lindsay. Dina said she'd rather get back with me than talk to Kate."

Kate Major recently filed a protective order in Sarasota County, FL to keep Michael at least 500 feet away from her. In response to this filing, Lohan tells us:

"The only national threat is Kate Major to herself and her father to her as HE led her to her present state of mind ... or lack of. When this case goes to court, the world will see and hear what the truth is about Kate, her father and their relationship. Until then, I hope they both get help. She needs to get help and then a job instead of making up accusations and stories to make money and get attention. It's in her blood."

As for Kate making claims Michael slashed his wrists the night of their fight, Lohan adds:

"Just another way for Kate Major to make money and keep her name in the press, when she should be in rehab to deal with her family issues which led to her drug and alcohol addiction ... the intervention at Celeb Rehab by Dr Drew didn't work, so what is a broke girl to do. Maybe go back to escorting! After all, she sure was open to everything. Trust me ... I want nothing to do with her. Been there done that and it was NO picnic."

Charlie Sheen has slammed ex-wife Denise Richards on Twitter, accusing her of being not only a "kidnapper", "traitor" and "wh*re" but a dog thief!

This morning, Sheen tweeted, "We must bombard with Warlock Napalm, that traitor and loser whore #DUH-neese POOR-ards. a vile kidnapper and now dog thief. hate. SBW c"



He also posted a picture of himself with the dog in question, along with the somewhat confusing caption "'... about a 1/2 mile out I put on the music. I play Wagner; scares the hell outta the Trolls, my boys love it.' sbw"

Apparently Denise let Charlie take custody of her two pugs after the divorce, so that her girls would have some familiar friends when they went to Sheen's house, says TMZ.

But after his most recent meltdown, Denise became alarmed when she heard the dogs were being neglected. Charlie returned the pugs to Richards, but one of them died of malnutrition.

Now Charlie apparently wants the surviving dog back and became infuriated when Denise refused.

Even though Charlie has received several other tweets supporting his campaign for the return of the pug, Denise is wisely choosing to ignore it.

In fact, Richards tweeted that she's currently filming an A&E segment for "Pup My Ride", a campaign that encourages people to adopt dogs rather than buy them from pet stores or puppy mills.

Avril Lavigne was spotted smooching longtime beau Brody Jenner goodbye at the airport last night, and the Canadian punk princess seemed super bummed as soon as she left him behind. Avril is traveling all over the globe to promote her new album, and though she brought Brody along on her last trip, it seems like conflicting schedules forced the two to stay apart this time around.

Talk about a photo op! A bloodied Lady Gaga met up backstage after her concert in Phoenix, Arizona with her idol Alice Cooper. Looks like the 24-year-old singer is all choked up!

While showing off her black undies and banging body, Lady G tweeted this photo with the following:

"I just died and went to hell."

After Black Swan choreographer Benjamin Millepied and jilted body double/ballerina Sarah Lane made conflicting statements to the media about Natalie Portman's dance work in the film, Fox Searchlight Pictures has released a statement on the matter.

"We were fortunate to have Sarah there to cover the more complicated dance sequences and we have nothing but praise for the hard work she did," the studio said. "However, Natalie herself did most of the dancing featured in the film."

After Millepied told the Los Angeles Times that "85 percent of that movie was Natalie [dancing]", Lane told Entertainment Weekly, "On the full body shots, I would say 5 percent are Natalie. I mean, from a professional dancer's standpoint, she doesn't look like a professional ballet dancer at all and she can't dance in pointe shoes. And she can't move her body, she's very stiff."

Richard Gere, wife Carey Lowell and son Homer attended the launch of the La Huella restaurant at the Punta del Este resort in Uruguay over the weekend, and after that the family rode horses on the beach near the luxurious hotel.

After a visit to historic Inca citadel of Machu Pichu, the Gere family was spotted with Argentinian real estate developers Camilo and Daniel Sieleki, and it's being reported that the actor is looking to invest in a property to run as a hotel. Gere was appointed the 2011 ambassador of the French hotel group Relais & Chateaux, and he's expected to expand the chain in the years to come.

Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez used to be inseparable. But the Disney darlings hadn't been seen together since Demi entered rehab ... until this weekend!

Selena posted a photo on Twitter of she and her former BFF smiling for the cameras.

The two have known each other since they met on the set of Barney and Friends at six-years-old, becoming even closer as each grew up on television (Selena on The Wizards of Waverly Place and Demi on numerous Disney shows like As The Bell Rings, Camp Rock and Sonny With A Chance.)

Both dated Jonas brothers (albeit at separate times) but the girls seemed to have drifted apart after Selena broke up with Nick and Demi went on tour with the rest of the Brothers.

Demi subsequently landed in rehab after she allegedly punched a backup dancer on her tour, while Selena started dating the most famous 17-year-old on the planet: Justin Bieber.

But while many thought these two had drifted apart for good, last month Selena made it clear that they were still very much besties, saying in an interview, "Many people believe that there is some rivalry between us, whether because of our ages, our music or the programs that we do. But there is no rivalry. Demi and I have been friends since we were six-years-old, from when we first met while working on the TV show, Barney. She is my best friend.”

And now just as Selena seems to be on top of the world with a hot new beau and an upcoming tour, and Demi seems intent on getting back to work, the girls have finally reunited, hooking up for dinner together.

Internet reports claim Britney Spears and Enrique Iglesias are planning to wow audiences together on tour.

A new flyer hit the web showing Enrique as the opening act for Brit, and the rumored show will take place on Friday, August 5.

Britney will be appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live this week to promote her upcoming album Femme Fatale. Perhaps Brit will be revealing her tour plans on one of these shows.

The rumored Femme Fatale Tour, featuring Enrique, will begin in Seattle, Washington on July 11.
