Britney Spears partnered up with Black Eyed Pea's will.i.am (only her second collabo ever!) for a track entitled "The Big Fat Bass", which Will teased a snippet of this morning.

This is the third "tease" that Britney has released in recent weeks, albeit the only one not from her forthcoming album, Femme Fatale.

Britney, singing backup for the Pea's frontman coos "I can be the treble, baby, you can be the bass," in the short tease for the new single.

On his blog, will.i.am writes, "thank you britney for collaborating it was a pleasure working with you. thank you for trusting my instincts. you're a doll. i look forward on working with you again... its an honor because you rarely do collaboration... im your second..."

Actually her collaborating on someone else's track isn't the only out-of-character thing about this -- take a listen below and see if she reminds you of some other pop star whose prone to making guest appearances...

James Franco Bails On His Post-Oscar Bash After Disastrous Hosting Job

Posted on Mon Feb 28th, 2011 7:50am PDT       By X17 Staff

francooopsie228.jpgCo-host James Franco didn't bring his A-game to the Oscars last night, and when it came time to attend his own after party, he completely bailed!

Seth Rogen, Kevin Spacey and several other stars showed up to his bash at the Supper Club, and Us Weekly reports that Franco didn't even bother dropping by to say hello! The actor boarded an plane to NYC immediately after the ceremony, and he even had the audacity to post pictures from the airport on his Twitter page with the caption, "It was fun! Have to be back to class."

And we weren't the only ones who thought Franco totally failed as a host! Of his totally uninspired job, The Hollywood Reporter remarked, "The 83rd Annual Academy Awards will likely be remembered as the night James Franco couldn't act like a host...Anne Hathaway at least tried to sing and dance and preen along to the goings on, but Franco seemed distant, uninterested and content to keep his Cheshire-cat-meets-smug smile on display throughout."

What Did You Think Of Anne Hathaway And James Franco As Oscar Hosts?
They were both HORRIBLE.
Anne did her best to make up for James' shortcomings, but even her amazing bod and frequent wardrobe changes couldn't save the show!
Eh, they weren't that bad -- people are just overreacting!

Madonna and her teenage daughter Lourdes wowed on the red carpet at the Vanity Fair post-Oscar party last night, but not for the reasons you'd think! While both of the ladies looked gorgeous, they left little to the imagination with their risque outfits. Madonna covered up her modesty with a pair of fishnets and a see through black dress, and judging from this picture, little Lola knew she was rocking a dress that was a wee bit too short:
