Lindsay told the world on Twitter tonight: "I would never steal," just a day after the actress was in court facing a grand theft felony charge.

Her tweet reads:

"i would never steal, in case people are wondering. I was not raised to lie, cheat or steal."

She also responded to criticism that her Basic Instinct-inspired tight white dress and heels may have been inappropriate for court:

"what i wear to court shouldn't be front page news. it's just absurd."

So what should be front-page news? Egypt? The HuffPo sale to AOL? Or maybe Lindsay's acting plans:

"i just want to be on set again, and left alone to just work!"

Today we spotted Miley Cyrus fresh from a trip to the gym, and she may not have been all glammed up and ready to hit the red carpet, she still looked radiant!

The sweatpant-clad teen queen kept her massive dreamcatcher tattoo covered up, and instead of rocking one of her signature cut out tops, she opted for one of her favorite Iron Maiden tees.

Miley just picked up a Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award nomination for Favorite Female Singer, so maybe that's what made her so...smiley?

This afternoon Britney Spears took her youngest son Jayden James to My Gym in Calabasas for lunch and playtime at their indoor park, and the pop princess flashed us her sweet smile on the way back to her car.

Just days after Ashlee Simpson filed for divorce from Pete Wentz, we spotted him visiting her mom's house in Calabasas this afternoon, where Ashlee is presumed to be staying. Though sources say the split is amicable, there are rumors that it was Ashlee who decided to move forward with the separation due to Pete's overwhelmingly busy tour schedule.

Ashlee is reportedly “fed up” with Pete being away from home for extended periods of time, and a source tells Radar, “Ashlee and Pete would argue constantly about him touring. Since she gave birth to Bronx she hated him being away from home. She wanted him to stop the band life and work more on producing music, so he could be around to concentrate more on being a husband and father. She hated him being away and said she felt like a single mother."

The source added, “I think that Ash just finally had enough. She put all her musical aspirations to the side to concentrate on being a mom and it is a big bone of contention with her that Pete just swans off around the world with his buddies like he’s a single guy. They had a major fight in October before he headed off to Europe, but then tried to make a go of things over the holidays for the sake of Bronx."

We're curious to see if these two pull a Sean Penn and Robin Wright, and the fact that they're meeting up does seem to suggest they're serious about working something out. The source close to the couple continued, "I honestly think Ashlee filed for divorce as a way to shock him into canceling his plans, or at least modifying them and giving in to her demands to be with her and Bronx. It’s not going to work though, Pete’s not going to play that game. It’s a really sad situation because they do genuinely love each other, and I would pretty much swear that neither of them is seeing someone else – but they just want totally different things in life and neither one is willing to compromise.”

We love this guy so darn much.

As always, James Franco is keeping an upbeat and lighthearted attitude towards his big Oscar co-hosting gig, alongside Anne Hathaway, on February 27.

The sexy star opened up to Vanity Fair (he's one of the March cover guys) about not giving a you-know-what if he kinda sucks at the gig.

Franco reveals:

“If it is the worst Oscar show ever, who cares? It’s almost, like — fine. It’s, like, one night. It doesn’t matter. If I host the worst Oscar show in the history of the Oscars, like, what do I care? I’ll try my best.”

Great attitude! It really is just one night, and as long as he doesn't bust out any Ricky Gervais-like jokes, he should be fine.

Franco is also nominated this year for his work in 127 Hours, and while we'd love to see one of our fave actors take home Oscar gold, we're 99.9% sure the little guy's going to leave with Colin Firth for The King's Speech.

We'll definitely tune in to see Franco's hosting abilities, but we're most excited for the red carpet fashion pre-show!

Rihanna's legal team have agreed to reduce the restraining order against Chris Brown, after the R&B star and his attorney appealed that the order be modified to a level one "do not annoy" restriction two weeks ago.

Brown was previously forbidden to have contact with his ex-girlfriend after he brutally assaulted her at a pre-Grammy bash in 2009, but this reduced order allows the two stars to have contact as long as Brown doesn't "annoy, molest or harass" her.

Rihanna is set to perform at the Grammys this Sunday, but Brown's lawyer has stated that he will not be attending the show, and these recent court hearings had nothing to do with the change.

Caffeine lover Ashton Kutcher was at Radio One in London today, and the British fangirls went wild when they spotted Demi Moore's husband leaving the studios. Ashton is in town to promote his new rom com No Strings Attached, which stands to make even more money over the upcoming Valentine's Day weekend.

Though Ashton has acted in nearly two dozen films, he admits that love scenes still make him a little nervous. He tells the Sydney Morning Herald, "You're always wondering, 'How far are we taking this?' It's technical, too. Ivan [Reitman, director] would give me direction like, 'I think you need to orgasm sooner.' But my male machismo is like, 'No, no, no. It would take me much longer than this.' It's always slightly more complicated than in real life." Ooooook then.
