Ashlee Simpson and her rocker hubby Pete Wentz are calling it quits. Jessica's younger sis filed divorce papers just this morning.

In the papers, Simpson cites "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. Ashlee is asking for joint legal custody and primary physical custody of their 2-year-old son Bronx.

X17online captured the last photos of the couple together last Friday when they hit up a local Starbucks. Over the weekend, Pete headed to Dallas by himself for the Super Bowl while Ashlee stayed home to party in LA.

Our photographer who took the photos at Starbucks tells us exclusively:

"There was absolutely no sign of trouble between them. As they were walking back to their car, they were totally lovey dovey and talking really close to each other. This is a complete surprise. Didn't see this coming."

Simpson is asking for child and spousal support. The couple, who reportedly do not have a prenup, tied the knot on May 17, 2008.

Alanis Morissette took her adorable 6-week-old son Ever for a walk outside her Brentwood home yesterday afternoon, and this is the first time we've seen mom and baby out in public. Not only does motherhood look great on Alanis, but little Ever is pretty much the cutest celebritot ever!

Britney Spears headed to Record Plant Recording Studios in West Hollywood to put the finishing touches on her latest album Femme Fatale and Black Eyed Peas singer Will.i.am joined the pop star to work on a new track. When our girl arrived, she even gave us a peek at her sexy tattoos!

Brit's album doesn't hit stores until March 29th, but we've already caught a glimpse of the sexy cover art and even a few stills from the video for Hold It Against Me which will be released on February 17th. Can't wait!

Brit recently shared with her fans via Twitter:

"I've poured my heart and soul into this album over the last 2 years. I've put everything I have into it. This album is for you, my fans, who have always supported me and have stuck by me every step of the way! I love you all!"

With her body looking this good, we're bummed she won't be hitting the stage at the Grammy Awards. Who knows ... maybe she'll surprise us!

Miley Cyrus must be thanking her lucky stars for signing on to So Undercover, because Joshua Bowman is by far the hottest costar she's ever had. Deliciousness.

Ms. Cyrus took her yummy new boyfriend and puppy (we caught her with the little guy early Tuesday) for a bite to eat at Johnny Rockets, and a stroll down Melrose Ave. in LA. But we must admit, while we usually love Miley's style, we're not thrilled with the '80's-type parachute pants, or the Davy Crockett-like foxtail key chain hanging from her purse. What's up with that? Josh, on the other hand, looks perfect.

An X17 photog on the scene noticed a change in the pop star's demeanor since she's been hangin' with her new costar, tell us:

"Josh and Miley looked really comfortable together. Miley seemed so happy to have a boyfriend. She has a different attitude when she's with a guy. She softens up a little bit."

Sounds like this one could potentially last more than a few months. Who cares if the sexy Brit dated Amy Winehouse in the past? Not Miley obviously, and we don't blame her, because we'd totally still date him too.

A sexy, sleek, and pregnant Victoria Beckham arrived in NYC after a temporary move to London while hubby David was on an extended training stay with North London soccer club the Spurs.

The Galaxy and Spurs are currently in talks to work out a loan deal, which would keep Becks at Tottenham until March 15th, and the start of the MLS season. This could mean we may be seeing a lot less of the Beckham family in the states.

The soon-to-be-nude Vogue cover girl is rumored to be expecting a little girl, and we're not too surprised. After having three boys, Mrs. B has got to have a girl to dress up and share that fantastic closet with!

What's a girl to do when she's got a court hearing for grand theft, AND she's already on probation? Obv.

Lindsay Lohan stopped by Byron & Tracy salon in LA to get a last minute 'do before she faces grand theft charges in court around 1:30pm Wednesday, but who could blame her? There's going to be so many darn photographers there capturing her every move, the girls gotta look good.

An X17 photographer who was on the scene when Lilo was getting primped Tuesday night tells us:

"Lindsay looked like she didn't have a care in the world. Either she's sure she's going to get off tomorrow, and not go to jail, or she's just a really good actress. I honestly think she knows she's not going to go to jail."

We have to agree, she knows she's not gonna do hard time for this little mishap. The whole thing seems a bit odd to us anyway, and it's fairly unlikely Lindsay will go back to jail … for longer than it takes to post her bail.

And we were still holding out hope mugshot #4 would be her last. Sadness.

This afternoon Lindsay Lohan was spotted at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, and the starlet seemed relatively calm when we spotted her driving up around 4pm.

Lohan is required to appear at the Airport Courthouse in Los Angeles at 1:30pm tomorrow, where she will be charged with felony grand theft for allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace from Kamofie & Company in Venice. The actress is expected to surrender to the court when she shows up for her arraignment, at which point her booking photo will be taken.

If all goes as planned she will be released after her bail is posted ... but what if the judge decides to play tough with Lilo?

Halle Berry stopped by Pane e Vino for a bite to eat on Tuesday afternoon, and even though she's waging a bitter custody battle with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, the Oscar winning actress didn't seem distressed at all.

After Berry expressed "concerns" for her daughter Nahla's safety (and made it clear she was fighting for full custody of the three-year-old), reports began to surface that she was the one who was unstable. Sources from Aubry's camp claim he has audio recordings of Berry "displaying fits of rage and name-calling", but after seeing these shots of the star looking so calm and composed, it's hard to imagine her flipping out and screaming at someone, isn't it?
