After flubbing the lyrics to the Star Spangled Banner at Super Bowl XLV in Dallas last night, Christina Aguilera is apologizing for her disastrous performance. The 30-year-old singer released the following statement:

"I got so caught up in the moment of the song that I lost my place. I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through."

As she reached the fourth line of the song, which is "O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming," Xtina sang, "What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming."

Charlie Sheen's ex-wife Brooke Mueller took the couple's twins Bob and Max to Chuck E Cheese over the weekend, and even though their father is somewhat out of the picture at the moment, it looks like the boys are managing just fine.

Sheen's daughters Sam and Lola were spotted with their manny at the mall in Calabasas, and though mom Denise Richards wasn't around, we're thinking she might have been visiting Charlie, as she's been spotted at his house numerous times since it was announced that he was seeking rehab treatment at home. Maybe she'll bring the girls next time?

Former Disney sweetheart Miley Cyrus took a break from lighting up her cigs and showing off her new tat to pose for a picture with her adorable Yorkshire terrier in Toluca Lake on Sunday. Ms. Miley even flashed her signature peace sign! The day before, Cyrus was gracious enough to pose for pix with a few of her female fans.

Speaking of the tattoo, Miley's new ink is apparently "a picture of the dream catcher that hangs over her bed with four feathers to represent her four brothers and sisters. The dream catcher is to protect them."

We got the first peek at The X Factor last night during the Super Bowl, and now Fox has announced that the show will be awarding the winner a $5 million record deal with creator Simon Cowell’s joint venture with Sony Music.

“I like the idea that a 12-year-old on this show can compete with an older singer and a singing group,” Cowell said in a statement. “I’ve never believed there should be a cut-off age for talent, and we are going to put our money where our mouths are with the $5 million recording contract. I’m doing this show in America because I genuinely believe we can find a superstar.”

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez celebrated Super Bowl Sunday by having a date together! The happy couple dined at The Ivy at the Shore in Santa Monica and then took a walk along the pier - talk about romantic!

An X17 photographer on the scene tells us the following:

"Justin and Selena were on an old-fashioned date. They held hands, walking around the Santa Monica Pier, riding the Ferris wheel, and just having good, clean fun. These two are as squeaky clean in real life as they are on TV. They're just kids having fun - and they look so cute together."

There's been a celeb sighting at Super Bowl 45 - actress Cameron Diaz and her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez were spotted eating popcorn by the FOX cameras. Actually, she was feeding him popcorn. Shouldn't it be the other way around?

Reese and Jim's big day must be getting close! First we saw the actress shopping herself silly in Paris, and now Witherspoon isn't even trying to stay under the radar with her upcoming nuptials.

The Water for Elephants starlet spent Sunday on Melrose searching for the perfect wedding dress at Monique Lhuillier. Reese also stopped for a coffee and sweet treat from Le Pain Quotidien.

While Witherspoon and fiance Jim Toth have yet to set an official date, the Oscar-winner has been busy jogging daily and showing off her $250,000 four carat Ashoka cut diamond and platinum engagement ring. It's only a matter of time!
