The sexy star is left Angie and the family while he begins renovating the couple's $70 million French Château!

The architectural enthusiast will oversee major renovations to the family's home, which is classified as an historical monument in the tiny village of Brignoles, not far from the city of Aix-en-Provence. Apparently the super-star couple wanted to give the estate a more contemporary feel.

The 1000-acre Château Miraval already boasts a private 75-acre vineyard, a moat, a lake, a swimming pool, twenty fountains, a forest, and its own aquaduct system, complete with hidden tunnels. Yea, we see why the place needs improvements.

The list of fixes to the 35-room spread include: hot tubs, steam rooms, a spa, a new gym, a larger wine cellar, a motorbike track for Pitt's ‘cycles, and an improved helicopter landing for the avid flyers. Security will also be extremely tight. Brangelina will install a surveillance center, spy cameras, alarms, and even infrared sensors. Sounds like a Mission Impossible movie.

While in New York preparing for his role as Liberace, Michael Douglas took a break from his busy schedule to enjoy lunch with pals at Marco Restaurant in New York.

The actor was diagnosed with throat cancer last year, and after completing intense radiation and chemotherapy, he looks much healthier ... and even seems to have put on weight. We couldn't be happier for him!

Douglas' wife, Catherine-Zeta Jones, has been by his side from the get-go, and no doubt, that has helped with his recovery.

As for his upcoming role, Douglas admits he's not the best dancer or singer, but he's "going to get my fingers ready for Liberace."

Now that Hally Berry and ex beau Gabriel Aubry have made their custody fight public, the Oscar-winning actress has been laying low. After baby Nahla was picked up from Aubry's house, Halle paid a visit to her mom.

The actress recently pulled out of the big budget romantic comedy New Year's Eve because she was concerned about leaving her 2-year-old daughter in Los Angeles with Aubry while she filmed the flick in New York, according to People.

In Halle's contract for the movie, New Line production would pay for Aubry and Nahla to accompany the actress to NY during the two weeks of filming, however Aubry decided not to go, adds the source.

"When Gabriel refused to go, that became a factor in her decision to pull out of the film because she didn't feel right leaving Nahla. No job is that important to Halle. Nahla comes first," the source tells People.

As X17online previously reported, the 44-year-old actress recently released a statement alleging she was forced to pull out of the movie deal due to "custody issues" and that she "has serious concerns for her daughter's well-being while in the care of her father."

Gabriel Aubry's camp fired back with a statement claiming the model was "disappointed" with how Halle is handling the issue. On December 30, 2010, Aubry filed papers asking the court to formally recognize his paternity and grant a court order giving him and his ex joint custody over Nahla.

Nahla turns three on March 16th.

After calling her nude photos in W Magazine's Art Issue "full-on porn," Kim Kardashian is changing her tune when it comes to the racy pics.

To clear things up, Kim K, 30, tells Us:

"Looking back, I love the photos. W Magazine is iconic so I'm really happy that I did it and that those are the photos. It's just that that's not what I thought they were going to be.

Obviously I'm comfortable posing nude -- I've done that before, and I did that then for the magazine. But that's probably not the direction I would've wanted to go if I thought that was going to be the case."

After hearing Kim's crying rant on Kourtney and Kim Take New York, W Magazine defended the spread telling New York Magazine's The Cut, "Kim Kardashian's cover was conceived as an artistic collaboration with well-known artist Barbara Kruger, and was a meditation on the influence that reality TV has on contemporary culture."

Kim adds, "When you shoot something, you hope that it turns out the way that you expected it to be. But looking back, that was my initial reaction when I saw the pictures and I was just really upset. I do think the pictures are beautiful."

Too little, too late? Not sure if W Magazine will be calling her back anytime soon.
