He's stepping down.

Senator Al Franken announced today that he will be resigning amid sexual misconduct allegations.

"Today I am announcing that in the coming weeks I will be resigning as a member of the United States Senate. This decision is not about me. It is about the people of Minnesota. It has become clear that I can’t both pursue the ethics committee process and at the same time remain an effective senator for them. Let me be clear, I may be resigning my seat, but I’m not giving up my voice. I will continue to stand up for the things I believe in," he said during a speech on the Senate floor.

He couldn't resist taking a swipe at Donald Trump and Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore and the many allegations against them while he was at it.

"I, of all people, am aware there is some irony by the fact that I am leaving [the Senate] while a man who bragged on tape about his history of sexual assault sits in the Oval Office, and a man who has repeatedly preyed on young girls campaigns for the Senate with the full support of his party,” he said.

He has a point!

We're glad she made it to the other side.

Fergie just opened up about her past crystal meth drug addiction, and we had no idea she was ever this bad.

"I was hallucinating on a daily basis. It took a year after getting after that drug for the chemicals in my brain to settle so that I stopped seeing things. I’d just be sitting there, seeing a random bee or bunny," she told the U.K.'s iNews.

During the worst of it, the singer thought the CIA and SWAT teams were following her, and she tried to hide in a church.

"They tried to kick me out, because I was moving down the aisles in this crazy way, as I thought there was an infrared camera in the church trying to check for my body. I bolted past the altar into a hallway and two people were chasing me. I remember thinking: ‘If I walk outside, and the SWAT team’s out there, I was right all along. But if they’re not out there, then it’s the drugs making me see things and I’m going to end up in an institution. And if it really is the drugs, I don’t want to live my life like this anymore, anyway,’” she recalled.

Ultimately, that moment was a turning point in her life.

"It was a freeing moment. The drugs thing, it was a hell of a lot of fun . . . until it wasn’t. But you know what, I thank the day it happened me. Because that’s my strength, my faith, my hope for something better. It’s incredible. I must have guardian angels," she added.

She really turned it all around!

"I do not know Post Malone, and I have no idea why he would say reckless things about our church, which he has never visited. Justin has not given our church $10 million, and we do not have gold ceilings. We do not even own a church building. So that gives you a little insight about how serious you can take his observations about anything to do with us," he refuted.

Whatever Bieber has been doing lately, it's working. His life is on the up and up!

While on-again girlfriend Selena Gomez has been overseas, JB has been spending a lot of time with his dad Jeremy, and he took to Instagram the other day to express how glad he is that they're getting closer.

" I love continuing to get to know my father I love working through hard things to get to the good things.. relationships are worth fighting for especially with family!! Love you forever and always daddy," he captioned a snapshot of the pair.

As for JB and SG, rumor has it the "Sorry" crooner is ready to put a ring on it!

When power houses collide!

Beyonce made a rare appearance to present Colin Kaepernick with the Muhammed Ali award at last night's Sports Illustrated's Sportsperson of the Year Awards, and the singer didn't hold back on her praise for the NFL star.

"Thank you Colin Kaepernick. Thank you for your selfless heart, and your conviction. Thank you for your personal sacrifice. Colin took action with no fear of consequence or repercussion only hope to change the world for the better. To change perception, to change the way we treat each other, especially people of color. We’re still waiting for the world to catch up," she told the audience.

Kaepernick doesn't take the honor lightly.

"I say this as a person who receives credit for using my platform to protest systemic oppression, racialized injustice, and the dire consequences of anti-blackness in America. I accept this award not for myself, but on behalf of the people. Because if it were not for my love of the people, I would not have protested. And if it was not for the support from the people, I would not be on this stage today.
