Judge Michael Pastor ruled Tuesday there is enough evidence to warrant a manslaughter trial for Dr. Conrad Murray and his involvement in the untimely death of Michael Jackson.
Deputy District Attorney David Walgren told the judge in his closing statement:
"It was not Michael Jackson's time to go. Michael Jackson is not here today because of the negligence and reckless acts of Dr. Murray."
Judge Pastor's ruling follows a six-day preliminary hearing with more than 20 witnesses called to testify. If convicted, Murray could face a maximum of 4 years in prison.
UPDATE: Pastor has also just ordered the suspension of Dr. Conrad Murray's medical license, as part of the condition to Murray's bail in the manslaughter case.

Ricky Martin is showing diversity on all levels in the music video for his latest single The Best Thing About Me Is You.
Although his new album isn't hitting stores until next month, the Livin' La Vida Loca singer is proud to support equality for all ... even displaying a painted equal sign on his chest.
Last March, the sexy Latin singer wrote on his website, "I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am."
We are fortunate that Ricky goes shirtless in the video. Muy caliente, indeed!

She gets so emotional, baby!
Hollywood socialite Kim Kardashian visited a Beverly Hills nail salon Monday afternoon with BFF Brittny Gastineau and let loose a series of wild facial expressions. And there are no reality TV cameras rolling so you know the starlet isn't acting!
Meanwhile, Kylie Jenner just joined Twitter and Kim K. Tweeted about it: "My little sissy Kylie finally joined twitter! Everyone please show her how we do it twitfam & follow her @KylieJennn." Later on, she messaged Kylie with, "I knew u would be addicted!"
And speaking of Kylie, she and Kendall might be the next Kardashians to get their own reality show - think Kim and her sisters would mind even more family members in the spotlight?

Attorneys for Michael Jackson's Estate are currently in a secret deposition with Jackson's Heal the World Foundation President Melissa Johnson, after filing a lawsuit claiming the charity uses the King of Pop's name and likeness illegally to solicit donations.
The executors of Jackson's estate, John Branca and John McClain, claim Heal the World Foundation had no relationship with Jackson or his family. The foundation was formed in 2008 and trademarked its name -- also the title of one of Jackson's most famous songs. The suits claims the foundation has even sought trademarks for certain terms like "Thriller," "Neverland" and "King of Pop."
Melissa Johnson - who shares the same initials as Jackson - has trademarked "MJ." In August, the foundation filed notice in the singer's estate case of its intent to use Jackson's name and to sell merchandise with his likeness.
Jackson's estate has filed trademark requests for similar terms and the suit claims trademark infringement and unfair competition and seeks a cancellation of the trademark of Jackson's (and Johnson's) initials.
We're told the Estate picked this week specifically, to begin the deposition, in hopes the media's attention would be diverted to the Murray trial:
"This is why they’ve set up this secret deposition Tuesday at their lawyer's office. The Estate wanted to do it specifically during the Murray trial so they could divert attention from this case, while they try to place a gag order on Johnson.â€Â
Looks like lawyers for the Jackson estate have got their hands full!

Whoa! Every Kardashian family member wants their own reality TV show. Loves it or hates it?
Up and coming models Kendall and Kylie Jenner (15 and 13, respectively) dish to Entertainment Tonight about being part of the Kardashian clan.
Kendall quotes big sister Kim's coaching advice: "For the pictures just be who you are, smile, be cute. And then for interviews if they ask you a question, answer it - most of the time."
The 15-year-old beauty also reveals that Khloe is "the more motherly figure of all. She raised me and Kylie practically... She's like my second mom."
And what about Kendall and Kylie getting a reality show of their own? Mom Kris Jenner explains the rules:
"Well, they have to get good grades. They have to show me that they can handle their own show and then we have to talk Ryan [Seacrest] into it."
