Embarrassing? Not exactly the word we'd pick to describe dating the hotness that is John Mayer.

Reports circulated early this week Shenae Grimes is in secret "cahoots" with the sexy musician, but the 90210 star took to Twitter to let the world know she's still single, and not too happy about the dating rumors. Grimes reveals:

"According to Star magazine John Mayer and I are in secret sexy cahoots. How wonderful for me…if wonderful meant embarrassing."

Soooooo does this mean Mr. Mayer has no date for NYE? We haven't seen the Heartbreak Warfare singer canoodling with his usual string of hot young ladies in quite awhile. Where are you headed for New Year’s John, because there are plenty of women out there who'd love to get in some sexy cahoots with your fine self.

The Kardashians' TV presence is about to expand yet again with Kim's younger sister Khloe and hubby Lamar Odom getting their own reality show.

"It shoots in the spring. They're so cute, playing off one another," sources tell Us Weekly.

The source adds that the vibe of the show will be similar to Bravo's Bethenny Getting Married.

Khloe and her Lakers star husband tied the knot on September 27, 2009 at the Los Angeles mansion of music mogul Irving Azoff.

These two are used to the constant spotlight, so they're definitely well prepared to have the cameras all up in their business. Lights, camera, action!

We have to admit we're a bit disappointed with Lydia Hearst's twitter claiming she has NOT signed on to play a Lindsay Lohan-like character in the upcoming film Dogs In Pocketbooks based on the troubled starlet's life. Is it because the Lohan family is threatening to sue over the film, or has she simply lost interest in the role?

Either way we're pretty sure there's a string of anxious actresses ready to dye their hair red, paint their bodies orange, and booze it up on camera. Talk about a fun acting job, who wouldn't want to play Miss Lohan? There’s never a dull moment with that life story.

When it was announced this week the famous Heiresses-turned-model was taking the leap into acting and had accepted the role, screenwriter Charles Casillo revealed:

"Lydia will play a bratty movie goddess in and out of rehab, in trouble with the law, and hounded by greedy agents, predatory paparazzi, stalkers and crazed media - a role obviously based on Lindsay."

It really sounded like the whole thing was a done deal, until Hearst tweeted this statement:

"Just so we are all clear.. My hair is Red because I am the new face of Schwarzkopf color. I am a model. I dyed my hair to front the campaign. As for any theatrical roles I am currently filming Two Jacks directed by Bernard Rose. My next project is Catwalk by Tony Hickox...Thank you all for your messages of encouragement during my transition into acting. I truly love and appreciate it. At this time I am ... Not officially signed onto any other projects. Thank you."

Hmm. We're not taking this as a "no" just yet. She could still sign on before the movie starts shooting in Los Angeles/New York in February.

No matter who ends up playing La Lohan, it’s going to be one heck of a film!

So much for Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi's plans to be put in a New Year's Eve ball and dropped in Times Square! Event organizers say the idea was "too impractical."

Co-producers of the big bash in NYC tell Entertainment Weekly:

“It was never intended or requested to for Snooki to be in the actual New Year’s Eve Ball in Times Square. The request to have her in a separate ball on a set-back roof came too late and was too impractical to fit in to our outdoor events.”

Looks like somebody dropped the ball on that one! MTV is going with Plan B which will include appearances by Jersey Shore stars The Situation and DJ Pauly D.

Fergie and hubby Josh Duhamel arrived in St. Barth this morning, just ahead of the Black Eyed Peas' big New Year's Eve gig for Russian billionaire Roman Abromovich.

The Peas are set to perform at Abromovich's massive Gouverneur Beach estate for the rich guy's annual NYE party. Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, P Diddy, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi, Victoria Silvstedt, and a whole mess of other stars are expected.

Reports claim Fergie and friends are getting a cool million for the performance. Last year Gwen Stefani performed.

The couple are staying in one of the most exclusive and expensive residences on the island ... no doubt paid for by Abromovich!

David Beckham wants his wife, his kids and the world to know that he did not have sex with Irma Nici ... the prostitute who claims to have slept with the soccer star at least five times while he's been married to Victoria.

In addition to the $25 million lawsuit against Nici and the publishers of In Touch Weekly, Beckham has filed a declaration under oath claiming her adultery allegations are "unequivocally false." In the declaration, Victoria's husband says:

"Nici has fabricated the following facts about me:

** that Nici has had sex with me five times in total.
** that in August 2007, I committed adultery with Nici and another prostitute by paying for sex with the two of them.
** that about a month later, I again committed adultery with Nici at the Claridges Hotel in London.
** that in October 2007, I contacted Nici while I was in New York seeking to again commit adultery."

Beckham adds, "I have never met Nici, let alone committed adultery or paid her for sex."

Just a day after the world learned of Elton John's new baby boy Zachary, the singer-songwriter made a stop at Book Soup in LA ... perhaps picking up some literature on child rearing?
