While we'd love to hear Demi Lovato has signed on for some weighty movie roles following her pending exit from rehab, it looks like Marvel's The Avengers will definitely not be one of them.

Reports spread early Wednesday claiming the troubled Disney star was "up for the role" and then "in it", but sources close to both Lovato's and Marvel's camps quickly denied the actress had any involvement with the film.

The Avengers promises to be a mega-hit with a star studded cast set to reprise their popular Marvel comic characters, but the studio is looking for an additional female lead to break-up the almost all-male cast. It would be a great opportunity for Lovato, but since she is currently in rehab “for emotional and physical issues”, there is no possible way she can join a film slated to shoot spring 2011.

As of now, the cast list includes: Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Samuel Jackson (Nick Fury), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Chris Evans (Captain America), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), and Lou Ferrigno will return as the voice behind Hulk.

The female role Marvel is looking to fill has yet to be revealed.

Kim Kardashian is dressing down for once, but she has still managed to add a bit of glamour with this off-the-shoulder studded shirt. Not sure if this is the most flattering ensemble, but Kim K always looks gorgeous, so she deserves a break.

Despite being dressed a bit more casual than usual, her hair and makeup look flawless.

Oh those arms, the tight white shirt, that angst-y gaze. Kristen Stewart is the luckiest lady alive and we almost want to hate her, especially when we see pictures like this.

While shooting our beautiful Robert Pattinson for an upcoming Italian issue of Vanity Fair, photographer Stewart Shining must have realized he had taken some photographic gold, which isn't too hard when you're working with RPattz. He made every Twi-Hard's Christmas day brighter when he tweeted:

"I was just thinking this would be my motto for the new year, and a nice Xmas present for the RPatt fans!"

Why not? We can't think of a reason either.

Michael Lohan is speaking out about Lindsay's plan to spend time with her mom, Dina, once she is released from the Betty Ford Center.

Lindsay's dad tells X17online exclusively:

"If Lindsay does visit with Dina and her siblings once she's released, I think it’s a great idea. Especially since her brothers and sister weren’t able to see her while she was at Betty Ford. Being away from her old so-called friends and haunts in Hollywood would only behoove Lindsay as long as when she gets to New York, she stays away from the old haunts and friends, as well.

Another important part of Lindsay's release, if she does spend time with Dina, is that Dina does not put Lindsay in between, or include her, in any of our differences. Lindsay needs two parents who will stand by her and become united rather than two parents who oppose each other. To any extent, I’m proud of Lindsay, I’m happy for her and I want her to be happy, as well. Family is the most important thing in recovery."

Rupert Everett has something in common with most of us; he doesn't go see Jennifer Aniston's romcoms. But despite how much he hates her choice in movie roles, he wants you to know she's still a member of "the club".

During an interview with BBC Radio 4's Today Show, Rupert Everett told the world what he really thinks of the ex-Mrs. Pitt, and it's definitely bitter-sweet:

"…Okay, something will go wrong. Like Jennifer Aniston will just have one too many total flops. But she's still a member of that club. And she will still manage to — like a star forming in the universe — a whole lot of things swirling around and suddenly solidifying into yet another vital tasteless romcom: a little glitter next to the Crab Nebula."

Yikes! At least she's still keeping busy and looking great.
