This may have been the year of celebrity break-ups, but for every split that left us bummed, there was a new celebrity engagement to brighten our spirits!

The New Year promises a list of star-studded weddings so big, it's almost a full-time job just trying to keep up with them all! While we just can't wait for Prince William and Kate Middleton's lavish TV wedding, or more importantly to see what she'll be wearing, the Royal wedding happens to be the only one with a set date.

Jessica Simpson, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian, Bret Michaels, Natalie Portman, Kelsey Grammer, Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard, Shania Twain, and even Hugh Hefner are all gearing up to tie the knot. Did anyone see Hef's engagement coming? We swore we'd see Jennifer Aniston on the list before the original Playboy! How much eggnog was he drinking this Christmas?

With all those big names we're left guessing which newly engaged couple will head down the aisle first, and 2011 may be the biggest race to the alter yet!

Chris Brown is really working hard on his comeback, and hopefully teaming up with tween superstar Justin Bieber will help!

Brown recently revealed he is gearing up to drop a song with the Baby singer as soon as this weekend. There's no better way to gain back that tweeny-bopper fan base than a duet with the Biebs!

The Forever singer tweeted:

"ME and @justinbieber got a BANGER/SMASH record for all the fans out there at the top of the NEW YEAR!!!"

The announcement isn't really a surprise considering Bieber hinted at the collaboration back in October. He posted a video covering Brown's With You via twitter, which gave fans an idea of what he would be up to next. Is he not THE busiest 16-year-old on the planet?

While it's unclear whose album the song will be featured on, we're banking on Bieber. Brown's album sales haven't exactly been stellar since that whole incident with ex-girlfriend Rihanna last year. We must admit, we're happy to see he's been making some progress since then. Brown recently posted the certificate of completion for his fifty-two week Domestic Violence Course of Commonwealth Catholic Charities.

Way to go CB! Can't wait to hear what these two have cooked up in the studio.

Maybe that sexy photo of LeAnn Rimes surrounded by male Christmas elves prompted Eddie Cibrian to finally put a ring on it!

After all of the back-and-forth business of she is/she isn't, we're so happy to hear the engagement is finally for real this time! The country songstress took to her twitter Monday to announce the good news:

"Thank you for all your well wishes!! We are extremely excited and look forward to a beautiful future. It's been an incredible last few days, I was shocked!!! We are blessed, our families are so happy and our lives are filled with love."

In other news, Rimes' ex-hubby Dean Sheremet has also recently popped the question. Maybe a possibility of a double wedding? We kid, we kid.
