Last night Reese Witherspoon attended the premiere of How Do You Know in Westwood, and she totally turned on her inner Elle Woods when it came to posing on the red carpet! We're not loving the funky print on the frock, but her smile and spunk could make even the most botoxed babe in the room crack a smile.

Earlier in the day we spotted the Oscar winner shopping in Santa Monica, and we're not sure if she was buying presents for Ava and Deacon or dress shopping for the premiere, but she was just as chipper!

Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester is talking about her partying past, and how wonderful it is to have sex, in the January issue of Allure Magazine.


The single 24-year-old actress, who is starring alongside Gwyneth Paltrow and Tim McGraw in Country Strong, has never been a fan of dating. She tells the mag:

"I don't see the point in dating. I hate it. It’s wonderful to be in love. And it’s definitely wonderful to cuddle and have sex and get to experience life with somebody. But it’s OK if you don’t find him and you’re 24. You can find it someday."

On her earlier days as a Hollywood party girl, she adds:

"We had craaaazy parties, we had DJ’s, bands, an ice luge, a fire twirler. One of my roommates burned off her bangs on the stove trying to light a cigarette. We would go out all the time. I've never gotten too crazy, but I definitely got to have experiences. Now, I don't want to do anything that's unhealthy for me."

When it comes to drugs, Leighton doesn't want anything to do with it. Meester explains:

"I mean, drinking is one thing -- overdrinking is another. And drugs are something that I do not tolerate at all. You'd be surprised how many people do it. If you go out and you're living the nightlife scene, that's what people do."

She just keeps giving us more reasons to love her!

Natalie Portman (who just received a Golden Globe nomination for her role in Black Swan) thinks lewd, juvenile humor isn't just for men, and in the latest issue of Vogue, the actress says she’s started her own production company and is interested in making comedic films like The Hangover for the ladies.

In the article, Portman says women are typically “not allowed” to be “beautiful and funny," and she believes it’s frowned upon for females to be vulgar. We can't wait to learn more about the projects she's working on!

A newly single Zac Efron is spending lots of time with his buddies now that he has split from longtime girlfriend and High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens. What better way to get over a breakup than to hang with the boys at a football game!

This TwitPic of Efron and Kellan Lutz, posted by the wife of Saints player Alex Brown, was taken the day before word got out of the big breakup, but Zac, 23, seems to be doing just fine.

Although these two hotties are the only ones in the photo, Miley Cyrus and Taylor Lautner were there, too.

Oh, Vanessa ... hope you're okay when you see your sexy ex with another girl. It's only a matter of time!

Dexter co-stars Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter are splitting after less than two years of marriage, and their reps confirm to EW, “Having been separated for some time, Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have filed for divorce.”

Both reps add that the split was amicable, but we're so bummed about this! The duo met on the set of their hit Showtime drama, (Carpenter plays Halls's adopted sister in the series) and they got married on December 31, 2008.

I guess holy matrimony was the pits!

With Burlesque earning a Golden Globe nomination for Best Musical and a hot new boyfriend, Christina Aguilera has plenty of reasons to celebrate.

A dolled-up Xtina hit up an after party for the London premiere of her big screen debut.

Looking voluptous as ever, the petite singer was happy to sign loads of autographs for her adoring fans. But we have a feeling, the real treat was seeing her in this revealing dress.

New beau Matt Rutler is thanking his lucky stars right about now.

Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp have both earned Golden Globe Nominations for their work in the critically-panned The Tourist. I think even Angie was surprised at that one!

Also scoring a nod ... the beautiful Natalie Portman for her role in the wickedly dark thriller Black Swan.

No surprise that James Franco earned himself a nomination for 127 Hours in which he plays an adventurer who is forced to cut off his own arm.

The King's Speech earned the most nods with seven, followed by Mark Wahlberg's The Fighter and Social Network both with six noms.

Christina Aguilera also has something to sing about this morning ... Burlesque was nominated for Best Comedy or Musical Film. The Kids Are All Right was also recognized in this category.

Others who were nominated ... Nicole Kidman for Rabbit Hole, Halle Berry for Frankie and Alice, Jake Gyllenhaal for Love and Other Drugs and Jesse Eisenberg for Social Network.

Yesterday Britney Spears paid a visit to BCBG near her Calabasas home, and it looks like the rumors of her being the face of the brand's new ad campaign could be true! We've already spotted the pop princess attending a party at designer Max Azria's house, and she's been to the BCBG studio once before, so perhaps she was getting fitted for an upcoming shoot? One can only hope!
