"I was an illegal immigrant in the United States. It was for a small period of time, but I still did it."

The gorgeous Mexican actress, 44, who says she experienced racism while trying to build her career, says:

"I had to endure the worst time of all in terms of racial discrimination in Hollywood when I first started out. It was inconceivable to American directors and producers that a Mexican woman could have a lead role."

Hayek is now considered the most powerful Latino star in Hollywood. Guess success is the best revenge.

Nicole Richie was snapped leaving a last minute wedding meeting in LA this afternoon, and the starlet ditched her dark and sweaty gym clothes and slipped into something a little sexier. Angelina Jolie is one of the most photographed women in the world, but when it comes to her kids being photographed, the A-list actress remains cautious when cameras are around.

During an interview on Larry King Live, Jolie, 35, tells King:

"I do hope there will at some point be laws about how close they can get to children with cameras because I think at some point, it's gonna be clearer that it's emotionally not healthy."

As for how she explains the paparazzi to her six kids, Angie adds:

"Well, we try not to get them into the middle of it... but when they do, we just have to kind of smile and say, 'Don't worry, it's not scary. They just like to take pictures. As a parent, the only thing you can do is try to make sure that they don't feel it's a threat, you don't act like it's a threat, and you just keep smiling so they don't feel anything negative."

Jolie is currently promoting The Tourist also starring Johnny Depp.

Lady Gaga has been named the 2011 MAC Viva Glam spokesperson, the cosmetics company announced today.

Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper were the spokesmodels for the brand in 2010, and a portion of the profits went to the MAC AIDS Fund. Of her racy ad campaigns, Gaga told WWD, "We want to make this trendy and fun. Sex education should be bright and vibrant and every woman should want to have this in her purse."

Sadly, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley aren't in the movie, but it sounds like there is plenty of drama to keep us occupied!

Paris Hilton is undoubtedly hot, but in this leather mini dress, sister Nicky is bringing her own level of sex appeal to the black carpet at the launch of Devon ... a luxury men's and women's lifestyle collection.

The luxe event, benefitting the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, was DJ'd by Lindsay Lohan's ex, Samantha Ronson. As for Nicky's outfit, we're loving her form-fitting LBD and the slicked back 'do.

There were some amazing movies released in 2010, and with the Academy Awards fast approaching, fans and critics have been buzzing about the possible Best Picture nominees. So what were our favorite films?

We loved Leonardo DiCaprio in Inception, but newcomer Jesse Eisenberg won us over with his portrayal of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network, so it's going to be a tough one! TRON was a total eyegasm when it came to special effects, and Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows had us wishing we had some superpowers up our sleeves, but that wasn't all! The highly disturbing (yet masterful) Black Swan starring Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis has been getting Oscar buzz since it opened at the Venice Film Festival, and the indie hit The Kids Are All Right could very well get a Best Picture nod as well. So what was your favorite flick this year?
