Kanye West was all smiles when we snapped him leaving Nobu in NYC last night, and earlier in the day the outspoken rapper called in to a Houston radio station and responded to George Bush's recent remarks. Once upon a time Kanye West boldly stated "George Bush doesn't care about black people," and apparently those 7 words were too much for the former president to take. Bush, who is promoting his new book Decision Points, told Matt Lauer yesterday it was "one of the most disgusting moments in my presidency."
However, it seems like Kanye has totally turned a new leaf, as he told the radio host:
“I definitely can understand the way he feels, to be accused of being a racist in any way, because the same thing happened to me, where I got accused of being a racist. For both situations, it was basically a lack of compassion that America felt in that situation. With him, it was a lack of compassion of him not rushing, him not taking the time to rush down to New Orleans. For me, it was a lack of compassion of cutting someone off in their moment. But nonetheless, I think we’re all quick to pull a race card in America. And now I’m more open, and the poetic justice that I feel, to have went through the same thing that he went [through]  and now I really more connect with him on just a humanitarian level."

When Angelina Jolie removed her puffy down coat on the set of United Love Story in Budapest, Hungary today we got a peek at just how skinny she really is! Angelina rocked her uniform of boots, jeans and a dark top, but even the pants looked a baggy on her thin frame.
We know this is her first time directing a feature film so she's quite overwhelmed, but hopefully she's not forgetting to eat when the rest of the crew takes meal breaks!

Police officers rushed to the Hollywood set of Law & Order: Los Angeles after a real semiautomatic handgun was found during filming. The new series features actors Skeet Ulrich and Corey Stoll who play LA detectives.
The gun, found by a cameraman working on the Culver city set, happened to be left on a rock in the filming area. As of now, who it belongs to, is unknown. The crime show has numerous weapons used for filming, however all of those guns shoot blanks.
LAPD say they're not sure if the semiautomatic gun has been linked to any previous crimes, but they plan on test-firing the weapon to find out.
Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the weapon being on set.

Miley Cyrus flew out of LAX last night (we're hearing she's heading Switzerland before dropping by Spain for the MTV European Music Awards this weekend), and the starlet totally pulled a Lady Gaga with her wardrobe!
Miley was wearing a t-shirt similar to the one she had on earlier in the day, but she ripped off the jeans and changed into a pair of somewhat opaque leggings and knee high boots! In her defense, the camera flash makes the leggings seem a bit more sheer, but that t-shirt barely covers her tush! Is this her way of acting out after her parents Tish and Billy Ray announced they were getting a divorce? I guess she really can't be tamed!
But we do have some advice for the Miley, if in fact she does need help with the tights/leggings thing ... check out this clip from CelebrityStreetStyle.com:

Mario Lopez is opening up on The Ellen DeGeneres Show about fatherhood and his upcoming VH1 reality show, Mario Lopez: Saved by the Baby.
Lopez, who admits to Ellen that he wants "three or four" kids, dished about how Gia's mom Courtney is doing ... and how she feels about adding more kids into the mix. The Extra host says:
"She's like one at a time. She's cool with that. She definitely wants them but I kind of want them right away and that's where we have our differences. I think it's cool when the brothers and sisters (are close in age.) I was raised close in age. When there is too much of a gap...I don't know, I just think it would be cooler."
Ellen even puts Mario on the spot ... asking him if he wants to propose right then and there. After he says, "No pressure. Thanks Ellen," his ladylove jokes, "Does that mean I have to say yes?"
We love a girl with a great sense of humor. Congrats, Mario!

Fox has confirmed that Gwyneth Paltrow will be singing Cee Lo Green’s “F*** You†on Glee in two weeks.
The song's provocative lyrics will be switched to “Forget You,†which kinda defeats the purpose of Gwyneth belting out the tune in the first place, but either way we're stoked to hear the Oscar winner sing!
Maybe she can give Lea Michelle advice on being a snooty ice queen without coming off as a b*tch?

A night of partying may have been the cause of Demi Lovato's recent downward spiral, according to People.
"As she did on most nights off, Demi invited her band, dancers and her parents to dinner. Afterward, she broke off with a very small group," a source tells the mag.
After it was discovered that the small group had been partying, Demi was confronted. The source adds, "When tour management found out about this, they talked to the people involved, including Demi. Demi reacted badly and perceived that someone on tour had told on her."
The 18-year-old Disney star then reportedly confronted the dancer from the Jonas Brothers tour whom she thought was the tattle tail and "there was a short, physical altercation."
"Afterwards, Demi felt awful about her behavior and realized she needed to take personal responsibility for it. Because of this, and because of the battles Demi has fought throughout her life, both she and her family realized she needed to take steps to get help immediately," the source reveals to the mag.
Contrary to what some reports claim, Lovato "is not in drug rehab," clarifies the source.
As for whether Twilight star and Joe Jonas' girfriend, Ashley Greene, was involved in any way, Greene's rep released the following statement, "There was never an issue between Ashley and Demi, and there is no truth to any rumors about a conflict."
