42-year-old Celine Dion has checked into a Florida hospital to prevent going into early labor with the twins she conceived via in vitro fertilization.

Celine is due in November, but at her age, and with twins, the couple and their doctors aren't taking any chances.

In a statement, the hospital said:

"Ms. Celine Dion has been admitted to St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida for observation at the recommendation of her doctors. She has been admitted to prevent the early delivery of her babies, which is the standard of care for any patient with twin pregnancy in this clinical setting."

And despite rumors that the couple were putting diva-like demands on the staff during their stay, the hospital made sure to reiterate that those were just rumors, nothing more.

"Celine and Rene have placed the health of their babies as their highest priority," their statement continued. "Recently, rumors have circulated that Ms. Dion has made certain demands of St. Mary's Medical Center regarding the birth of her children. All of these rumors are false."

"At no time did Ms. Dion or her husband make any special demands or requests of the hospital. She is not scheduled at any predetermined date for her delivery She has not requested or selected any particular staff or accommodations not available to other patients The patient is being treated as any other OB patient who comes to St. Mary’s Medical Center," they said.

Sounds like St. Mary's is a full-service facility, complete with its own PR person!

Over the weekend Alex Skarsgard and Kate Bosworth braved the crappy weather and caught a screening of Jackass at the Arclight in Hollywood (how romantic!), and the True Blood hunk kept his handsome face covered up, but Kate is just so incredibly gorgeous, how could we miss her?

The duo still seem to be playing it coy when it comes to PDA, but they spend more time together than most of the other couples in showbiz, so who knows how serious they are about each other?

Megan Fox is joining the new film, Friends With Kids, where she will be starring opposite Mad Men's John Hamm and SNL's Kristin Wiig.

The flick follows a pair of thirtysomething best friends who "observe the toll that children take on the couples they know and resolve to bypass that stress by having a child and then dating other people," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Jennifer Westfeldt (who also wrote the film) will direct and star with Adam Scott as her boyfriend, and Fox will play a girl who begins to date Scott's character. The film will be released in April, and we'll be eagerly anticipating a trailer in the meantime.

This isn't exactly Transformers, but maybe Megan will kick ass in this rom com?

Mel Gibson will reportedly have a role in the The Hangover sequel, according to the NY Post.

A source told Page Six, "It's a done deal. Mel will make a cameo as a tattoo artist. Filming is taking place on the Warner Bros. lot, where a Bangkok set has been built, and Mel is expected to film his role in two weeks. Then the production moves to Thailand at the end of October."

No word on whether Mel's character will poke fun at some of the problems with Oksana (or those amazing phone recordings!), but the sequel will follow the troublemakers (Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zack Galifianakis and Justin Bartha) to Thailand with "a dangerous stop in Bangkok."

No confirmation yet from Mel's rep on the matter, but we're hoping it's true!

Red-hot Rihanna - seen above leaving Madeo last night - will again collaborate with Eminem for "Love The Way You Lie (Part 2)," which will explain the female side of the story first explored in the original hit song.

Some of the lyrics are: "Even angels have their wing cut schemes, and you take that to new extremes, but you will always be my hero, even though you lost your mind."

The new track, produced by Alex Da Kid, will be featured on Ri's upcoming album Loud. Can't wait!

Guess they've never heard of Netflix! Tori Spelling and her fam visited a Blockbuster Video store in LA over the weekend to pick up a few movies, and it looks like the cold weather was a big factor when Tori was picking out her wintry ensemble. But how cute is it that mom and son Liam are wearing matching Ugg boots?

Meanwhile, Oxygen just renewed Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood for another season AND greenlit a new series entitled Tori & Dean: sTORIbook weddings. These two are never going away!

There's always something fun going on in Brentwood! This Sunday it was a Harvest Festival and Jen Garner brought along Seraphina and Violet. Afterward, the supermom took a solo stroll to gather her thoughts. Perhaps she was contemplating what Halloween costumes to get her kids?

Garner recently said that "costumes are not ready in my house. Now, I'm realizing I need to at least get the orders in."

She should just have hubby Ben Affleck worry about Halloween this year and take the next two weeks off!
