Lindsay Lohan's 22-year-old brother Michael Lohan Jr. doesn't usually put his name (or face) in the press, but he has released a statement to People about his sister and her struggle to get clean and sober. He tells the magazine:

"I think that in the past, her vision had been blurred. People she was surrounded by – enablers, leeches, whatever you'd like to call it – made things very difficult. It's quite strenuous to right your wrongs when the people around you help justify your actions. Therefore, cloudy judgment made it easy for her to neglect those trying to guide her. People with addictive tendencies do not get better overnight, so that cannot be expected. However, her commitment to her current recovery is a side effect of the realization of her past mishaps. She is well-aware that she's at a crossroad in life, and is fully committed to ensuring a healthier future. She has made conscious efforts to improve her lifestyle behaviors and to treat this process with great care. In order to continue her healing process, she's willing to take whatever steps necessary. We – her mother, brothers, and sister – have been there for Lindsay every step of the way – despite what trashy news reports – and will continue to give her our support and strength during these arduous times."

Maybe Michael should be in charge of Lindsay's future? Last spring, Michael graduated from Ithaca College in New York, where he studied business and played lacrosse, and it seems like he's got his head on straighter than anyone!

Not that this should come as any surprise, considering SJP starred in Sex and the City for so long, but still - the rolled-up jeans and those shoes? Talk about a hot look for Sarah Jessica Parker!

Plus she took son James Wilkie to school in a silver Prius this morning. Props for that, too!

Meanwhile, co-star Chris Noth recently said the following on the red carpet about SatC: "It's over. The franchise is dead. The press killed it."

Now that Lindsay Lohan will be spending the next month in rehab, X17online has learned that the million dollar offer to host a Long Island radio show is off the table.

Matthew Goldapper, program director, had once admitted that adding Lilo to his staff would bring "massive exposure," however he just couldn't hold out considering her recent relapse ... telling X17online exclusively, "The deal is dead."

X17online first brought you the story in which Lindsay and her mom Dina were offered a million bucks in exchange for being the voices of Long Island's WPTY Party 105.3 morning show.

Just last month, Goldapper told X17online that they were in talks with Dina trying to hammer out the details of the contract. He also added at the time that "Dina is very excited about the idea."

Let's hope this doesn't mark the end of the troubled starlet's multi-million dollar offers.

Hilary Duff and her sister Haylie were spotted leaving Cecconi's in West Hollywood last night, and the girls (plus mom) were celebrating Hil's 23rd birthday. Hilary didn't seem to care about the paparazzi, but Haylie was just NOT in the mood for her close up. Wait a minute, who's the bigger star here?

Jersey Shore star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi will publish her first novel in early 2011, according to publisher Simon and Schuster.

The book will be titled A Shore Thing, and it will "revolve around a girl looking for love on the boardwalk (one full of big hair, dark tans, and fights galore)."

Snooki said in a statement, "I'm pumped to announce to my fans a project that I've been working on for some time. This book will have you falling in love at the shore. It's 'A Shore Thing!'" It shore is. Will you read it?

We're not big fans of Rihanna's red hair, but she definitely looks hot on the cover of Loud, her fifth studio album. We're already heard “Only Girl (In the World)”, so we're hoping her second single “What’s My Name?” will bring us back to the kinds of RiRi tunes we're used to. Think this CD will be a hit?
