With the news that Lindsay Lohan checked into rehab late last night, we began to wonder who would be paying for her treatment, and Michael Lohan has weighed on in the matter, telling X17online exclusively, “Lou Taylor [is probably paying for Lindsay's rehab]. She wants to get her claws into Lindsay and Dina ... to act like a trusted friend when her motives are actually to take over Lindsay’s career and finances. She goes after the weak. Just like Britney [Spears]. Tell me who, of substance, does she represent?”

Lou Taylor, who is Lindsay's business manager/life coach hasn't been available for comment, but another source close to the situation tells X17online exclusively:

"No one's saying who's paying, but it does appear that Lou is picking up the tab on everything else. It's like some desperate attempt to buy her way into Lindsay's life, and it appears to be working."

After reports of Lindsay demanding thousands of dollars for staged photo ops with the paparazzi (not to mention rumors we've heard that Lindsay is hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt), we were certainly wondering how she'd be able to afford a stay in any of the major rehab facilities, which can run up to $75,000 for a 30 day stay.

None of the rehab centers have any incentive to offer Lindsay free treatment (it's not like she's getting swag from them and wearing it around town to give them free advertising), so if it isn't Lou, who else could it be? Is Lindsay borrowing from her wealthy celebrity friends, or is a media outlet agreeing to pay in exchange for exclusive photos or information after her fifth stint in rehab?

Eva Longoria Parker's TwitChange auction has raised over $540,000 for disabled children in Haiti.

As a part of the charity, celebrities offered to follow fans on Twitter and arrange personal meetings with the winning bidders, who made hefty donations throughout last week.

All of the profits from the auction will go to A Home In Haiti and they will be used to rebuild The Miriam Center, which cares for children suffering from autism, cerebral palsy and other major life disabilities.

I smell a third Academy Award!

Hours before Lindsay Lohan checked into a rehabilitation facility in Southern California, she was frantically trying to keep tabs on ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson, who lives in the same West Hollywood apartment complex as the troubled actress.

Samantha left the building around 9pm and headed to the W Hotel in Hollywood, and we're hearing Lindsay texted photographers and asked where her former flame was going, and get this -- she also begged them to follow her! Given Lindsay's relationship with the paparazzi (ahem, you know those reports of her asking $10,000 for staged shots of her SCRAM bracelet) we totally believe it, and this isn't the first time we've heard of her taking desperate measures to follow the DJ...

Maybe she just wanted to have one last chat before she was sent off to rehab for the next 4 weeks? Think Sam indulged her?

Seth Rogen has finally popped the question to longtime girlfriend, writer and actress Lauren Miller.

The couple, who are both 28 have been dating since 2004 -- long before Seth found fame in films like Knocked Up and Superbad.

Seth and Laura had been together so long "She'd started giving up hope that he would ever pop the question." But a pal tells Life & Style, "He surprised her with the proposal" last week.

It's good to be the godmother to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's kids.

A source claims that secret godmother Mindy Cohn (who knew they were even friends!) received a "huge diamond ring to thank her." Thank her for what? For agreeing to be part of the most glamorous family on the planet? Seems like she should be thanking him!

The spy, who knows Mindy from What Not To Wear says the ring is at least "four or five carats," according to Us.

Mindy wears the diamond ring that would make any bride blush on her right hand and when asked about it, told the source, "Brad and Angelina gave it to me."

Cohn also says "she visits [the Jolie-Pitts] wherever they go" and that the uber-rich couple "pay for her airline ticket."

So how did Natalie from The Facts of Life get in so good with the golden couple?

Apparently Cohn is close with Angelina's brother James and has known Brad "for years!"

And why not? The Dancing With the Stars hottie partied in Hollywood Monday night with co-star Tony Dovolani (he and Audrina were both actually really good, BTW!), and it looks like he and a pal - pictured above - scored some digits from a couple hot ladies.

Either that or Brandy was sexting him!

Oscar-nominated film editor Sally Menke - who's worked on classics like Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill and Inglourious Basterds - died Monday from complications suffered while hiking in LA's extreme heat wave.

The 56-year-old allegedly set out with a buddy around 9 a.m. on September 27th for a hike in Bronson Canyon. According to The LA Times, her pal decided to turn back after an hour, leaving Menke alone with her Labrador retriever.

When Menke didn't return home, a search party was sent out into Griffith Park. Her body was found at the bottom of a ravine just after 2 a.m. with her dog sitting nearby.

The cause of death has not yet been reported, but investigators told the Times that they believe Menke became disoriented due to the heat and collapsed.

RIP.
